Villa Omairi Torrox by Ruralidays

Holiday home on the outskirts of Torrox Pueblo, in the province of Malaga, Andalucia.

Located a few kilometres from the charming town of Torrox, this holiday home offers a resting place for up to 6 people, who will enjoy spectacular views and comfortable interiors.

Upon entering the house, you will find a charming living room with double-height ceilings, equipped with comfortable sofas, a satellite TV and a dining table. The huge windows that allow the light to flow throughout the interior also let the fabulous views become part of the room decor. The living room provides access to the fully-equipped open kitchen.

The house's three bedrooms feature modern decor and quaint touches, such as the brick wall in the twin bedroom. The other two bedrooms are equipped with one double bed each, while a bathroom with a shower completes the layout of the house.

The living room and the three bedrooms are equipped with warm/cool air-con.

Before reaching the outdoor area, stop to enjoy the splendid glazed veranda, provided with a dining table and a lovely corner to relax while reading a book or simply enjoying the vistas. From the veranda, access the private pool area, where you will also find a covered lounge space and a few sun loungers where to sunbathe as long as you want.

The outdoor equipment is completed by a covered BBQ, a ping-pong table and a pool table, and an outdoor bathroom with a shower.

Access to the house is possible via a 150-metre dirt lane.

Villa Omiri. Spain

What a superb location. Such a fabulous villa . So clean . The outside space is amazing. Something to keep everyone happy . Great size pool , The owners are very friendly, nothing is to much trouble. We will definitely be visiting again. There is a steep dirt track to the house. We would definitely recommend hiring a small suv .

Perfect place to recharge as a family

With its large pool, table tennis and pool table Villa Omairi proved the perfect place to reconnect as a family. With three adult children we needed a place which offered a variety of activities we could enjoy together and this Vila delivered. We enjoyed table tennis tournaments, pool matches and water volleyball in between eating and laughing a lot. It was also in an excellent spot for trips to Malaga and Granada as well as up into the Sierra Nevadas to climb Mulhucen. It’s close proximity to the road network meant that within minutes you were on your way to the beaches of Nerja or off sightseeing. The hosts were so helpful and friendly with a very warm welcome to their wonderful home. Thank you for a wonderful stay and memories to treasure.

Fabulous Villa and location

We stayed in Villa Omairi and had the most wonderful stay. The villa surpassed our expectations. It was homely, comfortable, clean and we enjoyed just being at the villa. We chose it for its location and facilities for the kids. It didn't disappoint. The boys had many an hour playing ping Pong and pool. There are so many areas to sit and relax and enjoy the views. We used the BBQ, enjoyed evenings spent in the sun room and enjoyed a few netflix films! We had a few queries which were dealt with promptly by Ani and Mario. It was a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend it.

Wir waren schon mehrfach in der Gegend. So ein toll ausgestattetes Haus hatten wir noch nie. Die Besitzer waren für uns immer erreichbar und falls nötig auch schnell vor Ort. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier richtig. In 10 Minuten ist man trotzdem am Strand oder im Ort zum Essen oder Einkaufen. Für uns war der große Pool mit ganztägig Sonne ein Traum.

Das Haus ist toll, sowohl die Lage als auch die Aussicht sind hervorragend. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist abgesehen davon das man nur über die öffentliche Müllumladestation (dort wird Gewerblicher/Städtischer und privater Müll abgekippt und dann in Container umgeladen) dort hin kommt wirklich nicht schlimm, auch die letzten 300 Meter Sandweg sind absolut passabel. Man ist sehr schnell am Strand (mit dem Auto) oder auch im Dorf Torrox ( wenn man sportlich ist könnte man sogar zu Fuß gehen ),wo es alles gibt was man braucht. ( Geschäfte, Restaurants, Bars) Die Ausstattung vom Haus ist super, viele bequeme Liegen am Pool, ausreichend Sitzmöglichkeiten zum Essen und Einspannen. WLAN top, wir haben darüber deutsches Fernsehen geguckt. Allerdings sollten manche Stühle aus Sicherheitsgründen wirklich entfernt werden, die Holzstühle am Tisch sind sehr klapprig. ( Es gibt allerdings ausreichend Ersatz am Haus) Der Backofen ist nicht nur für Familien sehr klein wenn man sich selber verpflegt. (2 Pizzen gleichzeitig fast unmöglich) Und das 2. Bad ist nicht wie wir dachten im Haus, sondern es ist das Bad am Pool, Außen, eventuell interessant wenn man mit 6 Leuten dort ist. Was mich wirklich gestört hat ist das der Überlauf vom Pool zur Reinigung des Wassers nicht funktioniert hat (laut Besitzer defekt), dadurch schwimmen viele tote Insekten auf dem Wasser und sinken dann zu Boden. Deshalb muss der Chlorgehalt im Wasser höher sein da das Wasser nicht richtig zirkuliert und sonst umkippen würde. Zur Info, es gibt Skimmer Pools zur Reinigung und Chlorung des Wassers oder eben Überlauf Pools wie hier, dies sollte funktionieren. Aber wir würden dieses Haus jederzeit wieder mieten, denn man muss auch Preis und Leistung bedenken. Wir sind zwei Menschen Ende 50 und mieten seit 20 Jahren Häuser in Spanien

Dit was ons eerste jaar overwinteren in Andalusië, het is moeilijk als je nooit hier bent geweest om te kiezen het juiste plekje, je weet niet hoe is de omgeving en de locatie van de huizen. De bergen in de omgeving en het Park Naturel Tejeda, Almijara en Alhama zijn dichtbij en fantastisch als je van natuur en wandelen houdt Het huis heeft een goede locatie, je kunt s’morgens of s’avondslekker genieten van het uitzicht op de bergen en het dorp Torrox. Je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt in huis om hier met plezier te genieten. Als je van wandelen houd, kun je vanaf dhuis beginnen. Zwemmen wate koud voor ons in de winter. Niet veel Nederlanders hebben zin om zo ver te rijden tot Andalusië, maar wij zouden elk jaar komen als mogelijk was. Ons huisbazen waren geweldig en hebben ons met alles wat nodig was geholpen. We hebben een super gezellig overwinteren gehad. Bedankt Ani en Mario.
