Pirans Pad 2 Bed, 2 bathroom, Bungalow, St Teath, Nr Port Isaac, North Cornwall

Dog Friendly refurbished bungalow in quiet close in the village of St Teath just 15 minutes drive from the lovely beaches of Polzeath and Daymer Bay;( Daymer Bay is dog friendly all year ) 10 minutes drive from Port Isaac. It also possible to walk to the Coast Path, if you've seen the Salt Path film. Also nearby are Tintagel and Boscastle. Padstow is about 20 minutes drive and the town of Wadebridge is 10 -15 minutes drive with a range of good independent shops and restaurants plus large supermarkets on the outskirts near the Showground. A short walk from local dog friendly pub, the village shop is only operating as a Post Office at present and the Cafe is recommended and dog friendly.
Please note there are no facilties for charging electric vehicles the nearest charge point is in Camelford.

2 Bedrooms, master bedroom kingsize bed, en-suite shower room, 2nd bedroom 2 single beds and own shower room.

Fully equiped kitchen diner, including dishwasher and washer dryer.

Separate Living room with TV.

Superfast unlimited broadband, Wifi and Smart TV.

Fenced Garden with seating area and lawn.

Off street parking for 2 cars.

Dog friendly, upto 2 dogs free more by arrangement, dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms stairgates provided so doors can be left open, Throws supplied to cover sofas.

Because of the garden layout it is not suitable for children under 8 as there is an unfenced wall around the lawn area.

Beautiful property in a great location, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The bungalow is very well equipped and comfortable. We had many lovely days out, in both the north and south coast. The village of St Teath is very pretty and the village pub was friendly with a nice beer garden at the back. We've found Cornwall in general to be very dog friendly and again this year we had no problems taking our dog anywhere. Thank you Helga and Gary for letting us stray and for the welcome treats (Stan says thank you too for his) x

The property was amazing!It was lovely and clean and had all the facilities that we required. It's ideally located approx. 10-15 from everywhere! Would definitely recommend and hopefully we'll stay again in the future!

Another brilliant stay

This was our second stay and it was as expected, brilliant. The standard of everything was exceptional and the personal touches such as the welcome pack and card for us and the dogs were again brilliant. The neighbourhood is quiet and access to quiet country lanes for the morning dog walks is very easy. A big thank you Helga and we will be back next year.

An outstanding holiday home

We are regular visitors to Cornwall and usually stay near the north coast and so Pirans Pad is ideal. We are delighted that we have found this outstanding bungalow and will certainly return in the future. The bungalow is situated in a peaceful location, it is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped. We had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. The local pub is within walking distance and good for an evening meal and the village cafe has a great breakfast menu.

Couldn't wish for anything more!

The house was spotless and contained everything you might need a home away from home. The welcome gifts were incredible, their was even treats for the dogs. We definitely recommend Pirans pad for a lovely holiday! Thanks so much for letting us stay it was an amazing Week😍 was a great deal evan

Beautiful property, clean, as described. Cannot fault anything, would highly recommend. Only problem was that we were there for the Euros final which didn’t go Englands way!!

So impressed

We stayed here with our son and partner plus our 2 labs. We were so impressed with the decor and attention to detail. The owners had anticipated your every need and our labs loved the treats left just for them. The village is lovely and the locals very friendly and helpful. We often visit Cornwall to see our son and will most definitely come back to Pirans Pad

Amazing layout,thought of absolutely all of the essentials you could possibly need. Delicious cream tea, cakes, biscuits, milk and even some dog treats. We really enjoyed our stay.

Short Break

We had a great very comfortable stay at Pirans Pad. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean, definitely a home from home. Welcome gifts for us and our dog, were a lovely surprise. Very dog friendly with enclosed back garden, dog bowls and towels etc, one of the best dog friendly holiday homes we have stayed in. Great location, very easy arrival and friendly hoist. Would highly recommend, we would be very happy to return.

Piran's Pad is clean and cosy and a wonderful place to return to each day. Lovely little thoughtful touches made our holiday so much nicer and thank you Helga for the fantastic cream tea and biscuits when we arrived!

Summer 2023

Cosy, clean, well laid out property with fixtures and fittings to a high standard. Made a wet summer break bearable. Location a little bit isolated with not much in the village. That said it was great for a peaceful break and has good links to more established holiday towns e.g Padstow, Port Isaacs, Boscastle etc.

Family and Dog.

Pirin's Pad has everything anyone needs for a very comfortable stay. To have two showers available is such a plus for the guests. The back garden proved to be a sun trap where you can enjoy the silence. The owners have put a lot of thought into this superb home. Highly recommended as it is close to popular areas of North Cornwall.

Hello I'm Helga the owner of this property, we love staying in cottages ourselves and we have tried to put everything in the bungalow that we would want to make a stay enjoyable.

It's all on one level, off road parking for 2 vehicles ( we have had a van and a car on the drive). Near to a lot of the attractions but set in a quiet position so you can unwind after a day of serious holidaying .
