Confortable-Familiar-Baño privado-Cherry Lodge

Cherry Lodge is a modern but cosy and comfortable cabin with a large wooden deck enjoying its own privacy overlooking the cherry orchard it sits in. In comes complete with BBQ fire pit and outside dinning, It is nestled in eight acres of private grounds in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of the Lyn Valley, and is surrounded by farmland with lots of footpaths. The interior has been furnished to a high standard with all modern amenities to allow guests to enjoy the peace and tranquillity without compromising on comfort. Once inside Cherry Lodge you will find a double bed and separate shower room with sink and toilet. The kitchen and living area includes a full convection oven/microwave, double hob, fridge freezer and a coffee machine. The sofa can be converted to a small double bed. There is excellent Wifi and a smart TV (for those who want it).


Cherry Pickers Cabin
Travel back in time to the 1940s with our vintage cabin. Enjoy a cosy separate double bedroom, WC & shower room as well as a kitchen complete with living area & bunk bed sofa.The refurbishment uses many upcycled local products so look out for the quirky features. There are Spitfires overhead on the flight path for Biggin Hill. Obedient dogs are welcome. There is excellent Wifi, smart TV and firepit.

Cherry Lodge
Escape to a secluded orchard with Cherry Lodge. Unwind in our cabin where you can enjoy a fully-insulated interior and decking with a wall-mounted heater for chilly nights. Expect bliss with a comfortable double bed, WC & shower room, kitchen & living area. The sofa becomes a double bed. There is excellent Wifi, smart TV and firepit.

Cherry Villa
Experience luxury like no other with our barn conversion.
Sleeping 4, the Villa has a boutique, Italian style. With a private courtyard garden, large decked area, bistro table & umbrella, it is the perfect summer spot. It is also self-contained with a large BBQ. Fully insulated and with WC, heated towel rail & shower room, enjoy only the best. There is excellent Wifi, smart TV and firepit.

Idyllic Orchard Cabin

Relaxed from the word go here. Lovely cabin in a beautiful setting. We got lucky with the weather and spent most of our stay outside on the decking and around the fire pit. Our 12 year old loved the rope swing & trampoline. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely time

Fantastic time, cosy surroundings. Only thing, it stated 4 adults, but the sofa bed was too small for two adults and very uncomfortable. Apart from that, hosts were fantastic and looked after us from the start. Definitely go back again, but to the villa next time not the lodge, only if there is two of us for the lodge. Loved it, great time there. Thank you 👍🏻

Fantastic weekend get away

We stayed at cherry lodge this weekend fantastic experience, the lodge was perfect everything we had thought it was going to be a nice orchard area outside to wake up to every morning and a firepitt just outside for romantic evenings ! Me and my partner would love to come back at some point !

Passionate about the history of Kent, Teynham & Lynsted, we are keen to share our corner of the country with as many people as possible.

Terry and Louise find great joy in the great outdoors and are always walking the dogs in the neighbouring fields or gardening.
We started Truly Kentish to open up our little village to those who have wanderlust for the countryside. As an oasis of calm, our Lynsted lodgings provide comfort to us and we hope they will to you too.

Although designed from scratch, the cabins many of their materials are reused from various parts of our property. Taking inspiration from the cherry orchards around us, the Cherry Picker's Cabin is made of fruit boxes, while the Villa is a luxury barn conversion.

We hope you'll grow to love Lynsted as much as we do.
