Villa Riviera is the place to stay!

Villa Riviera is very private with amazing views of Lucca, interior is absolutely stunning, relaxing by the pool, enjoying the beautiful landscaping, and long walks outside the area. Location is perfect with short drives to local attractions. We enjoy to cook, and found the kitchen lacked in certain items.

Stayed there as a big family and it was the perfect hub to explore the surroundings of Tuscany. Not far from Florence, Pisa and Cinque Terre - beautiful views and peaceful at night. The house itself was in superb condition and the host was responsive and helpful.

Beautiful views

A beautiful villa in a perfect location. We couldn’t believe how lucky we were with the property. The views were amazing, the house beautiful and clean and the pool (once the weather had warmed up!) was much en-joyed. It was so close to Lucca and we took the 6 children with us, aged from 2-7, into the town for ice creams, pizzas and a very fun bike ride around the wall. Mrs Daniela was fantas-tic and even came to rescue us when we got lost... 2 minutes away from the villa! Thank you for such a lovely holiday!

Perfect in every way

Very nice house and good location for driving to e.g. LuccaPisa. Very good and friendly service from the host and owners. Not much to dosee within walking distance but if you want to relax in the housegardengo on excursions by car it fits you perfect.

The Villa was as advertised spacious, clean and very accommodating. However, the description made it sound like restaurants and other conveniences were in walkable range. That was not the case.

Wonderful place and over the top quality home.

This home was remodeled about 3 years ago and was incredibility done. They did not miss any detail. It's a beautiful home with an outstanding view. The rooms are large and very comfortable. They provide all the amenities to make every part of the house enjoyable from cooking utensils, utility room, etc. I highly recommend this place to stay for the area.

A breathless Holiday!

This is an amazing place with a mindblowing view. This modern Villa is equipped with all necessities. The swimming - pool is AMAZING with a breathless view. The hous-manager Lucia is very communicative and welcomed us warmly when we arrived. We truly recommend this Villa.

Gorgeous view

Beautiful, beautiful view. Absolutely stunning. House was beautiful and comfortable. Accommodated our large family of 7 very well. Pool was great. Overall family had a great time and the property manager was quick, kind, and helpful. The only thing I will say that was a little difficult, is it is in the mountains, so of course be prepared for a mountain drive or taxi.

Pied a Terre Villa

Beautiful view and well maintained property. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom- great for 5 couples. Kitchens were adequately supplied but plan on buying all your own condiments and paper products. Italy has very high standards for recycling and the property owner expects you to adhere to them. The drive up to it has many switchbacks and narrow roads. Location was great for day trips to various spots- Florence, Lucca, Cinque Terre, and the beach all accessible by car.

Villa vacay!

This villa was perfect for our family of 7 adults! We even had an open bedroom. With 5 full baths, a downstairs half bath and even a bathroom outside by the pool it mer everyone’s needs. The views, pool and alfresco dining cannot be beat! We used the private chef services of Ariana and Friends suggested by the management company. They brought supplies, prepared and served two amazing meals that we ate on the outdoor dining area with breathtaking views. Fantastic experience! Thank you Lucca Villas and apartments for a once in a lifetime experience!

We booked this amazing villa for our family reunion and had a wonderful stay! The villa is very spacious, modern and well equipped and was able to accommodate 9 of us plus two babies very comfortably. The pool is magnificent with spectacular view on the sea, plenty of pool floaters available. Multiple dining areas available allowing for options during sunny /rainy weather. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms with lots of Tuscan charm. Close proximity to Lucca, Forte dei Marmi and grocery stores for immediate shopping needs. Mrs Lucia was very welcoming upon our arrival and was always available to answer all our questions and provide recommendations. Thank you for being a wonderful host and we look forward to coming back very soon! Our stay was perfect and would highly recommend this villa to everyone!

Tuscan Dream in Pieve a Elici

This villa is truly a Tuscan dream come true!! Only 15 minutes from the ancient walled city of Lucca, and a half hour from the beach and Florence, it was the perfect location. It is set high above the hill tops in the small but perfect village of Pieve a Elici. The road to the house has breathtaking views. The villa is restored to perfection, maintaining the Tuscan character and charm, yet providing all modern amenities, including a magnificent pool! The house is completely private with a wonderful view. The homeowners were simply wonderful to rent from, and Lucia, the villa's manager, was extra kind and helpful. This experience immersed us into Italian culture and made us appreciate Italy that much more! We can't wait to return to the villa in Pieve a Elici!

The communication and service from the team were great. The view is spectacular, the house is modern and all bedrooms are en-suite which is great. The electricity keeps blacking out at least 1-2 a day (maybe get that checked), the heating does not work even if you increase the temperature it stays at the blocked setting, and the trash situation is quite inconvenient, I would suggest providing some sort of containers or organisers somewhere out of sight from the villa maybe downstairs near the air con unit, where the trash can be kept until the pick up service comes, as its a 10 people villa, the trash builds up quickly.

Villa with a view to remember!

Wow! What a view from this beautiful villa! This is a great villa to enjoy friends and family. Very modern amenities but rustic Tuscan charm on the outside. They provided toiletries, robes and towels which was much appreciated. It was a bit chilly the week of May 20th to use the pool but it was a cooler week. We had Chef in Tuscany come and make dinner for us one night and the ladies that cooked made a fantastic meal. Be aware that this property is high on a mountain and the road to it is super narrow and curvy. It reminds me of Amalfi. We got used to it after a few trips up and down. For this reason, I would use a smaller car if possible to make navigating the roads a little easier. We were able to fit 2 cars in the driveway one was small and one was medium sized. This is a great location to explore Lucca, Chinque Terre and the Forte Dei Marmi area along the coast. Don’t miss the amazing clothing market on Wednesdays in Forte Dei Marmi. They had some nice stuff. We loved every minute of our stay. The only critiques I would have is the dishwasher didn’t work great which is a minor thing and there are like 5-6 cameras outside the house which I get for security. However, if your spending a lot of time outside it can make you feel like your being watched. Thank you for a great stay!!

Just like the photos!

The Villa is beautiful and the view looks just like the photos. We filled up all five big rooms but we never felt on top of each other. There is plenty of space! On our first night we had a private chef come and cook for us and it was a perfect evening looking out over the twinkling lights of the villages and cities below. The Villa itself is on top of a mountain and will be no problem getting up to the top if you are a brave driver. Several in our party got cabs from Lucca and Viareggio and they had zero issues accessing the property. We took easy day trips to Florence, Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano, Viareggio, and La Spezia for a boat trip. There is also a great winery, Tenuta Adams, about 15 minutes away that has a great premier wine tasting (30 euros) that comes with five wines, their olive oil, a fabulous cheese and meat charcuterie board, and foccacia bread. Massarosa is the nearest village at the bottom of the mountain which has cute coffee shops (Agora Cafe), gas, a Conad, a gelateria, and some good restaurants and quick access to the highway. We really loved this place and would return in a heartbeat.

Exceeding All Our Expectations

This property and our overall experience was a testament to how a VRBO luxury vacation can be. The property itself exceeded our expectations both on the interior and exterior. The pictures, though, beautiful, don't do justice to the sense that you get standing out on the upper patio (there is a lower one for grilling, too), looking out over a sprawling Tuscan valley below as the sun sinks into the Mediterranean beyond. Two kitchens, two lounge areas, large, well appointed bedrooms with beautiful rustic accents complete the feeling that you are in a villa that perfectly merges modern splendor with old-world warmth. While the property is, of course, the centerpiece of the experience, I can't stress enough how much the equally professional and welcoming property management team at Lucca Apartments and Villas made the stay a world-class one. From their multiple emails before the trip to our property manager, Chiara's, on-demand communication and flexibility through the stay and after our check out, it was their process that made us feel like we were being catered to by a top-notch travel agent every step of the way. A couple tips for the stay: download and familiarize yourself with the WhatsApp Application - it will be the best way to communicate with the team and it will make your stay seamless. There is a lovely little cafe and market about a 20 min walk away if you don't want to drive into town for some basics. Thank you for such a wonderful trip!

Beautiful property

The villa is beautiful and the views are gorgeous. The bedrooms were comfortable and well equipped, along with the kitchen. It had all the amenities to make you feel at home. Unfortunately, the pool is not heated and the water was cold making it difficult to enjoy. Communication with the house manager was poor. Two weeks before the trip, I reached out to her by email, phone and whatsapp with no reply. Finally, after 5 days, she replied by just saying hello. She didn't respond to my questions. I asked for suggestions for a wine tour and it took her another 4 days to respond! I decided to use another company to help set up our activities as I couldn't count on her to be responsive. We also had an issue with the clothes dryer not working. I sent her a message asking for help. She said she would call the next day, but I never heard back from her. All in all, we had a great time. We worked around the issues we had.

Schönes Ferienhaus

Das Haus ist sehr schön, sehr ruhig gelegen. Im Dorf gibt es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit, alles nur per Auto zu erreichen. Die Küchen könnten etwas besser ausgestattet sein. Es fehlen ein paar einfache Utensilien.
