APARTMENT "L'épicerie" - 2-3PIECES - PETITE VENISE - COLMAR A few steps from the Turenne bridge, we welcome you to the heart of the historic district of Little Venice. Extremely well placed, this superb 56 m² gîte, on the 1st floor of a 16th century building, is located in the center of old Colmar by the river, with its historic sites (Little Venice, Old Customs House, cathedral, covered market, museums, Christmas markets…), its restaurants, its shops, everything is done on foot…

Ideally located in a very quiet environment The cottage "la grange" enjoys a unique 270 degree view of the pearl of Colmar: "La petite Venise".
Literally with your feet in the water, only a few ducks or moorhens will get the better of your peace of mind.
The cottage set located in a pedestrian street but accessible by car to deposit luggage and shopping.
Public parking for grocery store and restaurants and in the immediate vicinity.

Excellent self-catering

Quaint and fascinating, centrally placed for La Petite Venise, excellent host with great communication. Colmar and the region are totally worth the visit.

Great location

Great location for visiting old town. Overall apartment was good. A window air conditioning unit was provided and helpful in the heat. You need to go outside the apartment to sit on the patio by the canal. One small detail is the bedding was minimal and could be improved.

A very cute apartment in colmar! A great view of the water from the little sitting area. It was pretty quiet at night and the beds were comfortable. It was a charming house with almost all the necessities. We wished we had more towels, wash clothes, and a body wash. Other then that we loved our stay here!

Nice apartment and well equipped. I’m a great location. We were able to walk to shops, restaurants, etc. we were disappointed, however, that the photos and some info on the listing makes it seem as though the apartment has direct access to, and a good view of, the canal. It hasn’t though the canal is several metres walk and has a sitting area where you can watch the tourist boats floating along the canal

Lovely apartment in great location but not exactly as described.

Well equipped and great location, but from the photos we expected to be looking at a lovely view of Petite Venise canal. The only 270 degree view is from the common property which is not the actual apartment so we were disappointed, In saying that you do have access to the canal, just not directly part of the apartment. Would stigill highly recommend. Very quiet, well located, clean, secure and has everything you need.

Nice property in wonderful location very close to all things and very walkable around Old Colmar. Property had terrace on canal which was very relaxing to sit outside. Property was clean and everything was nice and worked well. Portable air conditioner unit helped to keep apt cool as it was warm during our stay. Property mgmt had apparently disabled communication through VRBO so initial frustration trying to contact mgmt to find out about check in instructions. Mgmt was response to email when correct email was figured out. Would definitely stay again on future visit.

Lovely apt with wonderful location in downtown Colmar

Apt was spacious and clean and very nice location to walk around Colmar. We enjoyed sitting on terrace on the canal, very peaceful. Air conditioning unit placed in apt helped with hot temperatures, apt still a little hot as temperatures were high when we were there. Initial communication with host difficult as host was not set up to communicate through VRBO app and had to reach out by email and figure out what email to use to get check in instructions. Host did reply to email about check in

A lovely apartment in the center of a fairytale!

This is the perfect place to stay if you love being right in the center of old-town charm! The private terrace was such a treat. You can enjoy the daytime boat tours or early morningand evening privacy. We loved picnicking there for dinner each night. The rooms had everything we needed and when one item had not been restocked, our lovely host Aline was there to take care of it in less than 30 minutes.We were there during a hot spell but managed just fine. We enjoyed our stay so much!

A perfect getaway for us

Colmar was recommended to us by a work colleague. Not having a break since 2018 decided to give it a go living only 4 hours drive away. Couldn´t recommend this city or accommodation enough. Its as busy as you like or relaxing as you like. Didn´t realised how steeped in history this quaint city is. The accommodation is right in the centre walking distance to everything wether its world wide restaurants, museums, or tourist sights.

Beautiful home, but some inconveniences.

We stayed for a couple nights and the home is very beautiful and the location is amazing, however there were some issues. Unfortunately when we arrived it looked like the bed sheets had not been changed as there were crumbs/hair in the bed. We attempted to wash the sheets but there is no laundry detergent and when asked we were told we could buy some at a shop nearby. I feel like this should be provided by the host. When leaving we had asked for a late checkout and had confirmed we could stay until 2pm, but needed to tell the cleaning lady when she arrived. Upon her arrival (at 10:30am, even though regular checkout states 12pm) she let us know there were other guests coming soon so we could not stay later. We ended up checking out at 12pm. The outdoor area is shared, but it very nice to be able to look out at the canal. Overall it was an okay experience outside of those two issues.

Un appartement superbe

Venus pour le marché de Noël, nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans ce gîte, mêlant avec goût moderne et éléments anciens typiques du site. Placé idéalement il permet de profiter pleinement de la Petite Venise .

Direkt in Petit Venise

Die Wohnung war sehr schön, auch die Größe der Wohnung war für 3 Personen perfekt. Im Bad und in der Küche wären ein paar Haken für die Handtücher ideal gewesen. ( nur so als Tipp) Die Terrasse am Wasser war wunderschön. Wir haben sie am Abend sehr gern genutzt, nur ist sie für das ganze Haus zugänglich. Könnte man in der Anzeige vermerken. Es war aber ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt.

Die Wohnung war total schön, gemütlich und sauber. Direkt im Zentrum und das beste war die Terrasse direkt am Kanal. Hier konnte man genial sitzen und die Boote beobachten und die Schwäne und Enten. Besser geht kaum
