Perfect base for exploring the Beacons

Absolutely loved staying in the terraced studio with our dog. It was clean, warm and had everything you need for a nice break. Any questions we had were dealt with nice and quickly and the owners are really nice to deal with. Would certainly stay there again if we come back to the area

A great studio - very happy!

The Butty studio was great - clean and tidy (and lovely and warm!) with thoughtful touches like a dog towel for muddy paws and biscuit treats as well as Welsh cakes for us. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were in a super location for seeing family locally. A fab base for a short break, thank you .

Great location, gorgeous apartment.

The place was finished to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. It felt homely and was the perfect place to chill out after a busy day hiking. Comfy bed, gorgeous terrace garden and a cosy lounge area.

Rustic charm in Dowlais

The accommodation was perfect. The Welsh cakes on arrival and courtyard outside was an extra treat. Angela and James were very responsive and full of information about how to explore the local area. If you’re travelling with children and a dog, it’s a perfect gateway to the Beacons and Cardiff. Would definitely recommend 😊

Great short break

We stayed in the place in Dowlais Merthyr Tydfil the studio was very clean and the best part was it was dog friendly on arrival there was bowls supplied for the dog for water and also some treats left for the dog and nice Welsh cake for the humans, easy access to the property via a key box with code supplied on entry the place was warm and clean with all the things you need for your stay and a decking area just outside the back doors for the dog to roam around.

It was wonderful!

The place was very clean (that is what I liked best), with excellent linens. I enjoyed the quirkiness of the decor, and I also enjoyed the patio area (one of the patio chairs needs some help). I also liked the fact that the pictures on your website matched the actual home (It wasn't a bait and switch).

Lovely quirky accommodation in great location

We really enjoyed our stay at James’ place. The property is ideally place for walking in south wales. Very comfortable beds. The whole place was immaculately clean and the facilities all were in good working order. Owners left lovely welcome of fresh milk, Welsh cakes (yum!) and chocolates. This properly has all you need for your stay. Communication with owners was prompt and friendly. They sent info of places to visit prior to stay. Would highly recommend.
