Situated in the historic town of Ironbridge, in the heart of rural Shropshire, this holiday property which overlooks the historic iron bridge and River Severn, nestles around an attractive courtyard and enjoys all that Ironbridge has to offer. Many museums that are spread along the banks of the River Severn, trace Ironbridge’s history. The iron bridge itself is a reminder to its importance. Visitors can browse around the array of craft and souvenir shops as well as great bars and restaurants. Visit Bridgnorth, an historic town split in two but connected via a unique Victorian cliff railway. Madeley, 1 mile, boasts listed buildings galore, the grandest being Madeley Court. Newport offers a plethora of independent shops and eateries, whilst Telford has an indoor shopping area with over 150 shops and cafés. Wellington, hosting one of the oldest markets, is also worth a visit, and Wrekin Hill is a comfortable walk away. Kayaking, canoeing, cycling, walking, gliding, golf, fishing and horse racing are all available, whilst places to visit include castles, abbeys, working farms and museums, discovery centres, gardens, parks and historic houses. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Ideal place to stay to explore Ironbridge and surroundings

The location, with a fabulous view of the Iron bridge, was perfect and we enjoyed learning about the area and visiting the museums. Plenty of places to eat close by and the pork pies are delicious! The accommodation is excellent, spacious, well equipped and spotless. Everything is well thought out and carried out to a high standard. Having parking is a real bonus.

Wonderful, cosy cottage, right opposite the Ironbridge.

Really well appointed, cosy cottage in the centre of Ironbridge. It’s a beautiful, historic location with lots of independent shops, restaurants & museums to visit. The cottage is beautifully furnished and well very equipped. Would definitely recommend it.
