The cabin is super cute, but it has some issues. The drive is very steep but doable. The downstairs bathroom plumbing needs work. The water pressure in the shower is so weak that we didn’t use it. Also the sink drained slowly. There is a TV mounted on the wall in the downstairs bedroom, but you have to be careful not to hit your head on it. (I assure you that hurts). The mattresses are ok, but the one upstairs had a large metal piece sticking out. The view is nice, but there are some power lines. Over all we were happy with the cabin
So I'm fairly good and always trying to find something nice to say, so I'l, start there. Its a wonderful view, quiet and cozy. If you're a small group just trying to get away, its most likely going to work for you. CONS: It was very dirty! Dust everywhere and under everything. Water pressure in the showers are almost non existent, takes forever to get the soap off. Only supplied 2 trash bags for the week, and 1 toilet paper. The furniture is old and very used, and the beds... OUCH! But like I said before, Nice Views and quiet. Most won't have a problem with the place, if they are used to Motel 6. OH yeah, one more thing.... YOU NEED TO BE A MOUNTAIN GOAT to get up the driveway. If there is snow or ice, there is NO WAY!!!! And I live in the Mountains, but this should have been stated in the advertisement.
A Place in Time seems to be a million miles for nowhere, yet is conveniently located 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge. You can view beautiful sunrises from the porch, visit Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains and then lay back and relax in the hot tub.
