ERATO, the black and white room
The largest room on the first floor, ideal for 2, or for a family, is situated on the side of the building with view towards main garden.
The access is through the common interior stairwell or, alternatively, through the private exterior staircase.
The black and white brings back the beginning of the 20th century, under an oak beam ceiling, playing with colours and volumes through the bedroom to the large double bathroom with private sauna and immense walk-in shower with waterfall. The toilets are equipped with toilet hand shower.
The room is equipped with a king size bed 180x200cm, a mini-bar, a coffee machine for freshly ground coffee, a kettle with tea selection.
The guests will then have access to the common kitchen, living room, garden and SPA.
The oasis of peace is composed of the main building which accommodates three large rooms with private sauna or hammam and exclusive access to the SPA located in the garden.
A second building, formerly hosting the bread oven, is transformed today in a bed room, open during summertime.

The 10 acres of woods and gardens, a water spring and a pond which belong to the property are open to explore. The orchard and the gardens engender numerous species of fruits and berries that the guest will be able to discover, fresh or in jam, for their breakfast.

All guests have access to the kitchen and vast dining and living room, to take their breakfast and to profit of the fireplace, reading, or playing tables games.
A buffet breakfast is served in the large dining room. It is possible to eat it in place or bring it back to the room, or in the garden, according to one’s desire. Seasonal fruits and homemade jam is served all year long, together with home backed bread and fresh homemade yogurt, local cured meat, freshly baked pastries, freshly ground coffee and a selection of teas…a moment not to miss!

In the heart of the garden, guest can have reserved access to a professional SPA, set up on a timber terrace surrounded by fruit trees, with the view to the sunset and the forest as a background.

We propose wine tasting sessions in our vaulted cellar, located under the main building, as well as platters with local treats.

During the day, electrical mountain and hybrid bikes are at the guests’ disposal for rent, to leave for an excursion in the countryside, alone or accompanied by the owners. We can guide you in the heart of Burgundy woods and groves, along the Burgundy channel, to visit medieval villages and castles or through to Morvan forest, to help you discover the surroundings otherwise. We propose a different ride every day and can also reply to your expectation, whether they are sports, natural or cultural.
