Dream views on the sea shore of Platja d'Aro:
Apartment of 60m2 on the seafront right next to the shopping area and restaurants of Platja d'Aro, 800m from the bus station, 15min from Palamós and 30min from Girona Airport. It is distributed on the first floor with an elevator from where you will have unbelievable Mediterranean Sea views while you have breakfast. The two bedrooms have one double bed each. There is a bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, AC, winter heating, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi throughout the establishment and sheets and towels included. Key collection takes place from 4pm to 9pm with an option to extend. It is a smoke-free apartment and pets are allowed at an additional cost. At the check in you will be asked for the tourist tax and documentation. Groups under 24 years old are not accepted. We will be at your disposal almost 24h for anything you may need during the stay.

A place needing a little love

First of all, we arrived at the building and it was absolutely freezing in the building and in the apartment. All the blinds were down so the beautiful morning sun could not have warmed the place up. Luckily there were several space heaters and the wall unit that heated the place up after a little more than an hour. The pipes under the sink in the bathroom started leaking in the first hours. Pere came over and fixed within a few hours. The glasses in the cupboard and some pots were dirty. Someone was sent the next day to wash up, didn’t do the wine glasses. Part of the problem is that there is no rinse agent in the dishwasher so the glasses come out streaky. The greasiness didn’t come from the dishwasher. There’s no dish towel to dry the dishes. The tables in the living room are a little worse for the wear and were dirty. Whatever was on one of them, something pink, we also saw in the shower. The light in the kitchen is full of dead bugs. The shower also had a leak near the head, it had been repaired with tape, but there was still a leak. The shower drain was partially blocked, so you are standing in water, I tried not to think about this too much. There is no place to hang wet towels, no towel racks. The shower is teeny tiny. You can’t close the bathroom door when the toilet seat is down. There’s a broken shoe cupboard in the front hall, door missing. There was a half roll of toilet paper, no more, no paper towels or rags to clean up messes and only one very large garbage bag. We could only take the garbage out on the last day. The nespresso coffee machine didn’t work right. My husband managed to make coffee by holding the cup in place…I couldn’t figure it out. The sheets were rough. There was a spot on a pillow case. There’s only one beach chair. I put a towel at the bottom of the door to the apartment because there was a lot of cold air coming in. The place has great potential, a beautiful view. You can see the sun rise, the stars over the Mediterranean sea. It’s important to know it’s not a place someone lives , it’s just a rental. I felt it important to give this feedback so the owners can make the place a little more kept up and welcoming.

Bel appartement superbe vue petit soucis au moment de remettre les clés nous avons attendu 1 heure sur le parking avec nos bagages avant de voir arriver la personne avec les clés au moment de nous remettre les clés on nous dit que l'appartement n'a pas pu être nettoyé qu'il nous faut attendre une heure et demie de plus plusfauattendre qu'il nouattendre 1h30 de plus

Nous avons pu petit déjeuner sur la terrasse très sympa et au soleil. A midi, un peu plus frais car à l'ombre ...Très bon séjour.

Holiday feeling!

We had a Wonderfull stay at this apartment. Very good bed, and all other supplies in the apartment. The view is so relaxing!! Pere is a very nice host. We will come back for sure.

La vue est vraiment magnifique . Petit déjeuner face au soleil tous les matins sur la terrasse. Pedro est réactif quand on a besoin de lui. Très bonne literie. Manque d ustensiles dans la cuisine. Nous avons juste déploré le drapeau rouge pendant 4 jours suite aux intempéries, à platja gran alors qu il était vert sur les autres plages.
