Chalet moderne situé au centre, wifi, bain à remous et feu de bois

Ancienne maison la plus ancienne du cÎté nord de la montagne du Pleney, le Chalet Roc a été entiÚrement rénové et est passé de 1956 à nos jours. Les architectes ont décrit l'extérieur comme «l'un des bùtiments les plus intéressants de Morzine» et l'intérieur présente un design épuré et ultra-moderne.

Le Chalet Roc vous invite Ă  vous dĂ©tendre prĂšs de la cheminĂ©e dans nos confortables canapĂ©s. Le salon dĂ©cloisonnĂ© constitue le cadre idĂ©al pour organiser une fĂȘte ou prendre un verre aprĂšs le ski. Avec les portes en accordĂ©on s'ouvrant complĂštement du salon sur un grand balcon. Une fois par semaine, il est possible de voir les feux d'artifice de Pleney ou les spectacles de ski Ă  partir d'ici.

Le Chalet Roc est idéalement situé dans le centre de Morzine, à quelques minutes à pied de tous les restaurants, bars, cafés et discothÚques de Morzine. Il est également assez éloigné du centre-ville des bars et des clubs bruyants pour vous permettre de dormir paisiblement.

(Malheureusement, nous ne pouvons pas fournir de draps ou de draps pour enfants pour le moment.)

Ski au départ de Pleney Piste B: descendez les pistes et utilisez le passage clouté pour vous rendre au Chalet Roc.
Ski-out non disponible: 5 minutes de marche en descente vers les remontées mécaniques de Pleney ou 2 minutes de marche dans la neige en montée et traversée jusqu'aux remontées mécaniques de Pleney.

Nice chalet close to lifts

We had a fantastic stay in the chalet in Morzine. It was a short bike ride to Super Morzine and La Pleney gondolas.

The property was great for our group of five, plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped, we had plenty of towels, we were very comfortable. It was clean functional and brilliantly located and just a 10 minute walk from Morzines shops and patisseries. We had a couple of issues that needed sorting and the owner was excellent and very helpful and got us sorted out. There are a few easy fixes that could be done to improve people’s experiences there - garden furniture would be nice so we could sit out in the evening, and the balcony seating was damaged and needs replacing. Only a small thing, but it would have been nice to sit out comfortably. Bit of road noise from passing traffic, but we had the windows open, so this wouldn’t be an issue in the winter season.

Great chalet, in a fantastic location in Morzine. Had a great 2 weeks walking holiday and it brilliant to be able to come back after a day in the mountains, shower and then get into the hot tube. Pre Christmas stay December 2024

The chalet worked very well for our group of 6 - 2 adults and 4 teenagers. It’s ideally placed for the Super Morzine lift and central shops - a 5 minute walk. The hot tub was a real bonus and well tucked away out of sight - lovely to have that on return from the slopes. Comms with host was very good and came back very quickly when we had any questions or looking for pizza takeaway recommendations! As others have said the lounge could do with a bit of a refresh as the sofas are a bit tired but other than that we couldn’t fault our stay. Would love to visit again at some point - Chalet Roc it was a pleasure!

Lovely chalet in a great location for access to Ali lifts

Well equipped chalet with everything we needed for a family of 5 with adult kids. We walked to both super Morzine and the Pleney lifts and it was great for walking to restaurants in the evening. I’d read the reviews so knew there might be some road noise but it Did not affect us at all and I am noise sensitive! We didn’t use the mezzanine level so the restricted head room wasn’t a problem. I think the only slight negative was that the blinds and sofas were a little tired. We had a small issue of some bulbs needing replacing and one email to the agents and all Sorted. Owner Matt was great at responding to questions I had ahead of the booking. We were able to store our luggage easily as we arrived early and knew chalet wouldn’t be ready until 4pm. We all agreed we want to return.

Excellent location

Excellent location in Morzine with lots of space and facilities. Good value for money. That said there are a few small things which could improve the chalet. The baby stair gate was broken however it was not a problem as we kept the door shut to the bedrooms. There are several light bulbs which need replacing. The general cleanliness was ok however we found two used plasters in one of the wardrobes and the shower sealants on all the showers could be deep cleaned. The paint finish on the toilet seat in the top bathroom has delaminated exposing the MDF - not very hygenic. The travel cot could do with a good clean. Better mattress covers would be beneficial. Whilst the kitchen had an excellent variety of equipment some of the pots and pans need to be replaced. The balconies were lovely but need a good clean as there was rubbish left over from the previous guests. However we really appreciate that we have not paid premium rates for this lovely chalet but we do think that cleaniliness should be top priority.

well equipped house - great stay

We stayed in this chalet in March 2023. On arrival we received a welcome hamper which was really nice and appreciated! The chalet had everything we needed as a group of adults including large and well equipped kitchen / dining table and a decent sized sitting area, 4 x decent sized double/twin bedrooms (they can set up as you wish), 3 good bathrooms (1 is ensuite), boot room & utility room. I have to say the beds were very comfy :) In addition there's also a reduced height attic bedroom (accessed via a ladder) & separate small toilet and shower room (these spaces are fine but compromised on space) I would say the villa suits up to 8 people (any more you would be quite cramped). There is also a small garden and hot tub outside which was really nice (although not much privacy - could do with a fence or some trees :)) In terms of location, the villa is on a main(ish) road but once inside it's super quiet and cosy. You can walk to the town centre in about 5 minutes and probably a 5 minute walk to the Morzine lift and a 7 minute walk to the Avoriaz lift. The bus to Avoriaz is also about 5 mins by foot. We weren't super lucky with the snow but I think in peak season you would be able to ski closer to door on the Morzine side which would mean a reduced walk. Morzine itself is lovely with plenty to do and lots of nice eateries and drinkeries. Matt the host was really great and his level of communication was brilliant throughout - can't fault him :) Would stay again!

Agréable séjour

AgrĂ©able sĂ©jour , Ă  500m du centre ville. Globalement le logement est bien avec quelques bĂ©mols. Le propriĂ©taire est rĂ©actif et Ă  l’écoute. L’arrivĂ©e et le dĂ©part en autonomie sont trĂšs pratiques. Notez que la 5eme chambre est sous les combles et on ne peut pas tenir debout. Pas accessible pour les enfants.La propretĂ© du logement laisse Ă  dĂ©sirer.

Morzine d’étĂ©

Nous avons passĂ© de trĂšs bonnes vacances en famille (4 adultes et 4 enfants). Nous avons tous vraiment apprĂ©ciĂ© notre sĂ©jour au Chalet Roc. Il est trĂšs accueillant, bien Ă©quipĂ© avec des prestations haut de gamme, la piĂšce de vie et les chambres sont spacieuses et bien amĂ©nagĂ©es, le jacuzzi et le petit jardin sont trĂšs apprĂ©ciables avec une vue imprenable sur le « ballet » des parapentes. L’emplacement est bien, proche du centre, des tĂ©lĂ©cabines et de tous les commerces. On est a quelques minutes Ă  pied du centre et de toutes les activitĂ©s. Un petit bĂ©mol sur le traffic sur la route qui passe devant le chalet, route trĂšs frĂ©quentĂ©e oĂč les voitures roulent vite, voire un peu trop! Notre hĂŽte, Matt, est trĂšs serviable et disponible ainsi que l’agent sur place. Tout est mis en oeuvre pour rendre votre sĂ©jour trĂšs agrĂ©able! Merci!

Sejour tres agréable

Chalet parfaitement decrit sur l'annonce, trÚs fonctionnel, on a pu loger à 9 personnes, chacun ayant son espace optimisé. Proximité du centre ville, route un peu proche mais une fois prevenus dans l'annonce nous n'avons nullement étés incommodés. Grande disponibilité de notre hote qui nous a trouvé un appareil a fondue pour le lendemain soir sans problÚme, et qui s'est adapté a notre horaire de départ.

Bien mais...

Beau chalet, malheureusement situĂ© trĂšs prĂšs d'une route trĂšs frĂ©quentĂ©e ( trĂšs dommage !) Vaisselle pas trĂšs propre et maison mal nettoyĂ©e , un peu plus d'attention Ă  tout ça serait top. Les nez de marches se decollent, le chauffages qui tombent, le lave vaisselle qui fuit, la baignoire trouĂ©e inutilisable. Belle maison, ce pourrait ĂȘtre parfait mais on a l'impression que la maison n'est pas trĂšs suivie ! C'est dommage. PropriĂ©taire disponible et sympa, mais un peu plus d'attention Ă  ses points lui permettraient d'avoir 4 Ă©toiles .Le gros point noir Ă©tant la route si proche !!!

Perfect for 8 adults (not 10)

I chose this house because of its proximity to the Pleney lift. I hadn`t realised that the ceiling of the mezzanine room is too low for adults. So that was a bit uncomfortable. The living space holds 3 sofa`s, neither is very comfortable.The shower in the bathtub (upper floor) is only for little people as my husband (1.80m) could not stand underneath. Having that said, we had a wonderful week with apres ski in the hottub, and cooling down in the snow. Also a plus is that we could bring the dog. he owner always quickly responded to my questions, and solved the little problems we encountered. The location is great, the (mostly during the day) busy road absolutely did not bother us

Great location for a ski trip to Morzine

Four really good bedrooms and bathrooms, fifth bedroom up very steep staircase with low ceiling. Location could not have been better less than 5 min walk to lifts, town and plentiful bars and restaurants. Doorstep skis great service for ski rentals and rented lockers at lift for storage Lovely views in all directions and balconies. Nice and warm with plenty of hot water Hot tub really good, enjoyed by all Living area smaller than expected and certainly for more than 8 adults it would have been very tight We arranged separate outside catering (fresh community) which was truly excellent for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner The property owner and manger were super responsive and really flexible All things considered at the price this is a 5* property

We have stayed in this chalet for the past two years for our stay in Morzine. We love the location and the villa is such a good size for plenty of people. The garden is an absolute bonus - perfect when you have little ones. Matt the owner is so helpful and we can't recommend this chalet enough

Fantastic

A great stay in Morzine. Chalet is perfectly situated and just a 5 minute walk to Pleney cable cars and town centre. Doorstep ski's (as recommended by Matthew) came to the chalet and kitted us out with our ski and board hire. We rented a locker for the week at Pleney to lock all our skis and boards away which made things much easier as we just had to get up each morning and walk to the slopes instead of having to carry all the skis etc. The chalet had absolutely everything which we could have ever thought of and was perfectly sized for the 7 of us. I would have no hesitation in returning to Morzine again and would definately stay in Chalet Roc as I wouldnt look anywhere else
