About this property

Newly remodeled, on beautiful acreage between Temple & Belton, gorgeous views

The Texas Star cottage is only five minutes from Temple, seven minutes from Belton and only eleven minutes to Salado. The Silos, in Waco, are forty minutes away. The cottage is centrally located, yet has a country feeling.
Fruit, muffins, and beverages will be in the refrigerator upon your arrival to be enjoyed at your leisure.. Sit on the covered porch, take in the views. Bikes are available to ride with prior notice. Taylors Valley is a beautiful area to take walks. At this time, we don't have horses but are seeking horses to pasture.

The cottage has a living/dining/ kitchen combination, beautifully decorated with a separate bedroom. It has a covered front porch with relaxing rockers that look over
the pasture. The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with down comforter. The cottage is equipped with a full kitchen with granite countertops, flat screened television, with Netflix, Hulu & Disney, DVD player with over 30 DVD's to watch, WIFI, and a day bed. Our ten acre property
is located across the street from a large ranch, and is a great area for hiking and biking. This property beats any hotel room in terms of privacy, space, covered parking,
and hospitality.

On a recent trip to visit family, we spent 4 nights here. I enjoyed waking up and having coffee on the porch and hearing the sounds of nature - but also being close to everything. We visit the area several times throughout the year and definitely plan on returning. This place is a jewel!

This property is unique. The cottage gives you the feeling of
country yet is located close to shopping, restaurants, Baylor
Scott & White, and Lake Belton. The cottage is an hour from Austin and 40 minutes from Waco. Clorox wipes and Lysol spray are used to sanitize the cottage in lieu of the Coronavirus.

What makes this property unique

Privacy with gated entry, great views, large open living, dining, and kitchen, and covered parking.
One small dog is allowed with a short term rental. Dog needs to be 30 pounds or less, crate trained, and well behaved. A $50 pet fee will be collected at check-in.
