In the idyllic location overlooking the river Ljubljanica, just a stone's throw away from the famous Dragon Bridge, farmers market and Ljubljana Castle awaits for you a charming family apartment. The apartment is located in a historically restored building from 19th century in the first floor and compromises: open space kitchen with a dining area, overlooking the terrace with fine herbs ( rosemary, sage, basil), 2 bedrooms, a huge living room and a bathroom with bath.

Week long visit in Ljubjlana

Great location - Close to everything in the city, without being in the middle of the noisiest and most crowded areas. Two big bedrooms, a living room with a fold-out as a third bedroom, and a spacious kitchen/eating area. Nina was a great host, giving good input on how to get around the city and out to the scenic areas of Slovenia.

The most unique apartment I’ve ever rented! Centrally located in Ljubljana and in walking distance to everything you need! Dragon Bridge is one block away! A bistro is feets away! We loved our hostess Nina! She was always available by text whenever we needed her. The apartment had all the necessities plus! Bring your own pillows! Beautiful apartment in the very center of town

This apartment is in a perfect spot overlooking the river, but very quiet and private atmosphere. The host was very helpful answering our questions from how to get a taxi to what washer setting is best to use. The place has tons of character, and beautifully done renovations. The patio is amazing, we had wonderful stay.

Gorgeous well located apartment...with a patio!!

Highly recommend...great location, steps from everything you want to see and yet totally quiet. Apartment is large and had everything we needed to cater for ourselves. Most amazing is the patio..perfect for dining and just sitting out and enjoying the sun...a green oasis in a green city. We are a family with 2 adult children and this apartment was exactly what we needed as we explored the city and did some day trips to Skocjan caves and Lake Bled.

Absolutely Perfect!

This was my favorite VRBO that we stayed in during our 5 week European adventure! Both the apartment and Ljubljana were beautiful! The pictures were very accurate but you have to step inside to see how truly awesome it is! It has lots of room- there were only 2 of us so we didn't need the other bedroom or beds but it made a nice staging and storage area for our luggage. The owner, Nina was extremely helpful for everything from helping us figure out where to park (there is no parking at the apartment but there is a nearby lot- It's expensive, about 35 USD per day but very secure and a short walk) to helping us figure out how to use the combo washer/dryer which was convenient, albeit confusing. This place is in such a great location for everything in the town and old town area. I can't say enough great things about this place and Nina!

Welcome Home

The apartment is central, cozy, clean and welcoming. Even has a lovely patio overlooking the river! We didn't have time to cook but the kitchen was very equipped. The toaster and coffee maker got a good workout every morning. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely apartment in Ljubljana

Our family of six with older teenagers stayed at this lovely apartment in downtown Ljubljana in July of 2012. The apartment was clean and spacious and the kitchen modern. We were met at the train station which was about a six block walk from the apartment. The apartment is close to the downtown area with shops and restaurants. We enjoyed this riendly city and wish we could have stayed longer. We recommend this apartment.

Location Location Location!

Book this property now! It is at the very end of the popular pedestrian zone but it looks like more improvements are coming to the street. So you are in the heart of all the fun but it's quiet too. The terrace is your oasis in the middle of the city. There is a bridge steps away to walk to two grocery stores. The vintage clothing shops are not to be missed just minutes away. The market on Friday and Saturday were wonderful adventures for our family. Be sure to check out the fish market downstairs for fish caught that morning! The terrace has herbs to cut for dinners and the kitchen is well equipped. We referred to the bedrooms as "Princess" rooms for our girls. It truly was like a fairy tale!

Great stay at wonderful apartment in Ljubljana!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nina's apartment in Ljubljana! The location was ideal—just close enough to the downtown area to be convenient, but far enough away to avoid the busiest, most touristy spots. Each morning, I took a quick stroll to the City Market and found it easy to walk to other essentials like grocery stores and ATMs. One of our favorite features was Nina's balcony, where we loved sipping our morning coffee while gazing over the river, with a view of the Castle. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped; we didn’t need to buy anything extra, and the ample supply of coffee pods for the Nespresso machine was a delightful touch. The washer/dryer was also a huge plus, making it easy to pack light for our longer trip. Nina was incredibly responsive, and the detailed document she provided made the check-in and check-out processes straightforward and stress-free. If I have one small critique, it's that the beds could be more comfortable. The mattresses seemed kind of old, and you could feel the springs. Also, upgrading the bedding would enhance the overall experience. Despite this, the apartment met all our needs, and Nina went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.

AU COEUR DE LJUBLJANA !

Appartement atypique au coeur de Ljubljana, spacieux et bien équipé ! On a regretté que la 3ème chambre soit le salon et que l'on soit obligé de traverser une chambre pour aller au salon... Un peu déçus aussi par la literie, un peu vieillotte... Mais sinon joli appart hyper bien placé pour profiter de Ljubljana au calme avec une super terrasse ! Nina est trés communicante et agréable ! Je recommande !

Awesome place. Awesome host.

Our family of 5 with mid 20s adult children had the most amazing stay. The apartment location is on the river and steps away from old town. The apartment is huge with great bedrooms and common spaces The kitchen and amenities go far beyond expected. Nina is the ultimate host, always immediately responsive and helpful. We will definitely return.

Charm and convenience

We found this apartment to exceed our expectations in size and grace. The walls and ceilings were finished exquisitely and the chandeliers added to the old world charm. Every thing we needed was available and Nina was always responsive and helpful.

Great location, attentive management

This pleasant and spacious apartment is in a great location. We walked less than five minutes along the river to reach the dragon bridge, the open-air market and the charming historic district beyond. Rather than rent a car, we took buses to Lake Bled, Piran and other interesting places. The main bus station was just a 15 minute walk away. A couple of maintenance problems came up during our stay, and the managers resolved them quickly. We definitely would choose this place on a future visit to Slovenia.

Nina awaited us at the apartment and showed us around, gave many useful ideas what to do. Apartment was great even when 35 °C during the day, rather quiet and close to the center to town. Everything we needed was there. The parking garage was about three minutes to walk.

Old is gold. Great location and hosts

Very good location. Old building but apt was spacious and had most appliances. Hosts were very helpful as we had little children and luggage. Helped with parking (as its a bit confusing initially) and unloading.

Très bel appartement très proche du centre historique, on peut tout faire à pied

Excelente piso en una buenísima ubicación

Estuvimos de maravilla 7 días en este magnífico piso. Preciosa decoración, cocina muy equipada, estancias muy amplias y todo muy limpio. DE LUJO!!!

Como dice el título, de lujo hemos estado mi familia y yo en el apartamento de Regina durante una semana el pasado agosto. Es tal cual sale en la foto, completamente equipado (¡en la cocina hay mas utensilios que en la de mi casa!), decorado con mucho gusto y muy cómodo. Está situado en un sitio privilegiado, se llega andando a todos lados y para salir y entrar muy cómodo. El trato con Regina a través de email hay sido muy fluido y amable, además habla perfectamente español con lo cual se facilitan mucho las cosas. El recibimiento por parte del propietario fue estupendo, muy atento y jovial. Desde allí nos hemos movido por todos el país, que nos ha encantado y hemos disfrutado de Ljubljana, sobre todo por las noches de sus maravillosas vistas, ambiente. La gente es encantadora y amable. Recomendamos el viaje y por supuesto la estancia en este apartamento

Excellent Apartment, well located.

We like Slovenia very much, and being at this department was really excellent, we enjoyed the trip a lot and this of course include the "beautiful" department we stayed. Nina is a great person and everything she said about the place was true. We will come back for sure!!!!! Only one comment maybe should be good to install Air Conditioning, but it is also true that this summer in SLO was particular hot.

She has been guiding in English and Spanish for more than 15 years and she will be very happy to give you some tips on spending your holidays in Ljubljana and Slovenia. On the other hand, I am very keen on sports so I can share my passion with you as well and give you some tips on where to go for a morning stroll, jogging or kayaking, wherein Ljubljana you will find scenic hiking trails and what water sports you can enjoy in Ljubljanica river.

We really enjoy the location of the apartment, you actually don't need a car to explore the must-see sights in Ljubljana, you have a lot of grocery shops and supermarkets just a few steps away, there is a farmers market just 5 min from the apartment and on Trubarjeva street you will find unique restaurants and bars (Čompa, Libanonske meze, Skuhna, Zalika) to enjoy the summer nights.
The other plus of the apartment is definitely the terrace where we also spent a lot of time, we also have planted some herbs to season the Mediterranean dishes we love, there are some small tomatoes and strawberries as well, and great sun lounges to enjoy the afternoon sunset with a glass of wine, surrounded with lavender flowers, rosemary and sage.
