Blockley is a quintessentially English golden stone village, situated within the rolling hills of the North Cotswolds, between Moreton-in-Marsh (with direct rail links to London Paddington) and Chipping Campden. Guests staying at The Gap can enjoy an abundance of scenic walks over the surrounding countryside. Blockley's picturesque church, churchyard and vicarage can be recognised from the filming of "Father Brown", a BBC detective drama set in the 1950s. Other notable buildings in the village include: a brookside converted water mill; a wonderful community cafe with a well stocked shop for all your essentials; and two pubs within walking distance. Mill Dene Gardens within the village is open to the public during May and June. The ever popular towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway are just a short drive away,
