Modern villa, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms large panoramic roof terrace with distant sea views, large private pool (10 x 5 metres) set in 7000 square metres of olive grove.
Villa L’Arco (The arched villa) is a modern built villa with a large private pool (10 x 5 metres) and enchanting views of the olive groves set in an elevated position with distant sea views towards the glorious nature reserve of Torre Guaceto. From the large roof terrace, you can enjoy breath taking panoramic views across the olive groves leading towards the sea.
Internally, the light floods in through the villa thanks to its large arched doors and windows, making the open plan kitchen, dinning and lounge area the perfect place to relax and socialise.
The villa entrusts an minimalist furnished style offering 3 great sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms including the master bedroom ensuite.
The kitchen area is modern and bright consisting of a oven with a 4 ring electric hob with integrated dishwasher and washing machine as well as a large Samsung fridge freezer perfect for stocking up for the hot summer days.
The villa has all the modern conveniences including air conditioning in all the bedrooms and lounge area, internet access with WIFI, SmartTV, DVD player with a selection of films and a PS4 with a few games.
For security, there is a fully monitored system and a hand built stone wall and gated entrance at the front with a long private drive way.
Outside, the villa has a beautiful large arched veranda which overlooks the stunning tree lined olive grove and pool area. The villa has a central aspect with steps leading down to the large patio area and pool which gives an infinity feel. The pool is surrounded by beautiful Puglian natural stone and has 6 lovely sun loungers.
To the side of the villa, leading out from the kitchen doors, there is a further patio area great for evening dinning and enjoyment of the table tennis table along with a stone built BBQ towards the rear.
The surrounding private land consists mainly of olive trees, as well as mature chestnut and walnut trees. A very quiet and peaceful location to enjoy the Puglian sunshine.

Nearby, it is located only 7km to the famous Torre Guaceto nature reserve as well as near the many lovely beach towns of Specchiolla, Santa Sabina, Torre Canne.
The beautiful towns of Ostuni (The white wall city), Carovigno, Ceglie Messapica, and Brindisi are all nearby for sight seeing.
The nearest shops are 3 km to Serranova where you will find a very local cafe with everything you need, and about 6 km to San Vito dei Normanni (Penny, Lidl and the very popular Famila) within a few minutes.
Brindisi airport is less than 20 minutes drive away.

important Notice:
It can happen on days of great heat, that in the whole area there is an excessive use of electricity due to the massive use of air conditioners. This means that there may be brief power outages. In 2021 it happened 3 times: 1 in July and 2 in August. The interruption lasted max 2 hours, we understand that it is a discomfort, but we can not do anything about it. It is a widespread anomaly throughout the area.
The whole area is not served by an aqueduct. The water is drawn from an artesian well 60 meters deep. It is pure water, however it is not recommended to drink it without boiling it first.

Hospitality and great views

Wonderful Stay !

The Villa is well located with easy access with 15-30 mins drive of many of the towns and beaches. It is in a tranquil setting among Olive trees, peaceful and secluded for swimming in the pool to BBQ's. Gina is a wonderful host who cares about her beautiful villa and the area, and is more than happy to advise where to shop, best beaches, where to try and eat etc - If you are considering Puglia for a holiday , then you will not go far wrong booking this lovely Villa.

Nice villa between olive trees

Villa situated between, olive and almond trees rather lonely out in the countryside. A little difficult to shop and go out to eat, especially in the evening. If you like peace and quiet out in the countryside, the place is perfect. Nice pool.

Peaceful Puglia, wonderful hosts and an amazing pool!

Well equipped Villa in Puglia with an amazing fresh water pool. Gina was a great host, explained the Villa well. Perfect for our family of four after a busy tour of Italy. Make sure you update google maps and the coordinates Gina provides takes you straight to the Villa. Recommend a Car. Supermarkets in San Vito, great beaches 15/20 mins away, recommend Ostuni market & Alberbello and Locanda di li spilusi food is a must to try!! Grazie Mille Gina!

Just what we wanted

Great villa. Set in a quiet olive grove. Very well equipped. No passing traffic. The contact from the host was fantastic, both before and during our stay. The only reason I've dropped it a point on "Location" is the last couple of hundred yards of public road to the property entrance are on a pot-holed gravel road. Not the owners fault at all, I know. I would definitely stay here again if holidaying in the area.

Great week in Puglia

We had a great week staying at Gina's place. The property contains everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool is great, beds are comfy, kitchen fully stocked with all you need to cook. We spent many nights up on the roof terrace playing cards and watching the sunset. The location was also excellent for day trips to the beach, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Lecce and Ostuni. Supermarkets and restaurants within 15mins as well. Above all was how accessible and helpful Gina was. Always contactable and so helpful providing tips for where to eat, park and explore. She was such a wonderful host. Thank you Gina for making our stay so easy and for giving us the best tips for restaurants!

Cicadas and swimming!

Great support and contact from Gina right from enquiring about availability. Lots of local information, welcomed on site by Costanza and David and all were available via WhatsApp if we needed them. Great pool, used so long and so often as the weather was hot and humid for two whole weeks. The sound of the cicadas was often all we could hear - though neighbouring olive farmers occasionally appeared with their tractors! St Vito dei Normanni is lovely and welcoming, has everything you need and the trains from Carovigno were fast and cheap to get to places without the hassle of driving. A great two weeks.

Superb and very relaxing villa, well located to explore Puglia.

The villa is very lovely. Swimming pool is just great: large, clean and with very good sun-loungers (6 in total) while having a great view on either the villa or the very large olive-garden. No neighbors, so very relaxing. The outdoors also had a very good table tennis and ready to use bbq. While having a lot of wasps in Tuscany (at the poolside and when having dinner), we had hardly any during our stay at the villa; very remarkable. The indoors is clean and spacious. Beds are good and bathrooms spacious (2, both with shower and toilet). Both living room and bedrooms all having airconditioning which makes it very nice in those very hot months. House can be locked with an alarm. Went of one time and security responded within minutes. Although we never felt unsafe or anything, it’s good to know that when you’re out your belongings are extra safe. Road to the villa is a bit rocky on the end, which is not uncommon in Italy; just drive slowly. The villa is well located if you want to explore the area; within an hours drive all the beautiful spots can be reached easily. Beach is nearby (beach umbrella and a surfing board are there for use), although we had no time to visit it. Also good to know: a very well-equipped supermarket is at about 20mins away; always a plus. Very noteworthy: both the owner (Gina) as their local ‘staff’ (Constanza and David, who are both fluent in Italian and English) are easy to reach, respond very quickly via either whats-app or even phone and are absolutely dedicated to give you a very good stay in the villa. They all make you feel very welcome. Overall: we would absolutely recommend a stay in the villa. It offers the perfect, relaxing holiday you are hoping to have! (We did!!)

Hôte attentionnée

Maison avec belle et grande piscine dans un endroit isolé et globalement calme, à l’exception des chiens qui aboient la nuit. Nous avons été un peu déçus par la région, les routes sont jonchées de déchets plastiques, les plages assez sale et surpeuplées. En revanche les villages sont magnifiques. Gina est une hôte prévenante et réactive et la maison correctement équipée même si certains appareils pu ustensiles mériteraient d’être remplacés (eg aspirateur).

Superbe séjour à Villa L’ Arco

Nous avons passé en famille une superbe semaine à Villa L’Arco ! La maison est superbe au milieu des oliviers au calme , la piscine est parfaite et tout était parfait . L’accueil de Gina est exceptionnel et il est très facile d’échanger, des conseils précieux nous ont guidé pendant notre séjour :) Un seul mot : Merci !!!

Holiday review

We hebben een zeer aangename vakantie beleefd op deze locatie. Het ligt zeer centraal waardoor met een auto vele locaties als lecce, monopoli en alberobello te bereiken zijn. Daarnaast werkte de airco goed en was het grote zwembad een aangename verkoeling. Winkels liggen op 10 minuten rijden en het zwembad wordt goed onderhouden. Al met al een prima plek om te verblijven tijdens de vakantie.

Nettes Haus mit tollem Pool aber ein paar Mängeln

Ds Haus liegt inmitten eines Olivenanbaugebietes, besitzt 3 Schlafzimmer und einen großzügigen Wohn-, Essbereich mit Küchenzeile. Zwei der Schlafzimmer sind recht klein, aber man hält sich dort auch nicht lange auf. Die Türen zu den Schlafzimmern ließen sich aber leider nicht geräuschlos öffnen oder schließen (quietschende Klinken, knarrende Scharniere, ungedämpfter Anschlag des Türblattes), so dass alle anderen Mitbewohner gestört wurden, wenn man das Schlafzimmer verließ oder betrat. Das Bidet in dem einen Bad funktionierte gar nicht, die Armaturen von Waschbecken und Dusche wiesen zum Teil deutliche Kalkablagerungen auf, und die Chrombeschichtung der Armaturen hatte bereits Beulen. Fernsehen gab es leider gar nicht, lediglich Netflix, obwohl sich auf der Dachterrasse eine Satellitenschüssel befand, die aber nicht positioniert und eingestellt war. Das Internet reichte kabelgebunden gerade mal für ein ruckelfreies Netflix aus, eine ausreichend schnelle WLAN-Verbindung ließ sich nicht herstellen, so dass selbst das Abholen von Emails zu einem Geduldsspiel wurde. Die Küchenausstattung war ein wenig mager, Geschirr war nur in relativ geringer Stückzahl vorhanden. Der Wasserkocher war verkalkt und es zeigten sich nach dem Entkalken Rostflecken auf dem Boden. Eine Kaffemaschine gab es nicht, lediglich einen Kaffeebereiter mit Sieb und den obligatorischen italienischen Espressokocher. Der sicher nicht gerade billige Ampelschirm am Pool klappte eines Tages ohne äußere Einwirkung zusammen (vermutlich war das Zugseil gerissen), einen Ersatz erhielten wir nicht. Besonders nett war der Kontakt zu der Besitzerin und den Verwaltern, mit allen konnten wir relativ problemlos in englischer Sprache kommunizieren.

It's a nice place to be! Tout était parfait. La maison est très bien équipée pour passer un moment merveilleux en famille. Tout y est : situation de la maison au calme, cuisine très bien équipée, piscine parfaite pour le plus grand plaisir des enfants, ..... Tout est fidèle à la description de l'annonce. Les échanges avec Gina sont très faciles et agréables : Gina est disponible et soucieuse que tout se passe pour le mieux. L'accueil sur place par Constanza et David est parfait : ils sont chaleureux, disponibles et font le maximum pour répondre le plus rapidement possible à la moindre question. It's THE place to be for hollidays in Puglia.

Wunderschöne Villa mit Pool umgeben von Olivenbäumen.

Wir als Familie mit zwei Kinder und unserem Hund haben in der Villa L‘Arco für 2 Wochen einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht! Diese Gegend in Apulien ist sehr weitläufig von vielen sehr großen Grundstücken mit Olivenbäumen. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Im Innenbereich gibt es zwei Bäder, drei Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer mit Küche, also wirklich Platz genug. Internet ist in dieser Gegend ein wenig langsam, aber es hat ausgereicht. Der Fernseher hat sogar Netflix, es gab auch PlayStation, falls es jemanden zu langweilig wird! Uns war auf keinen Fall langweilig! Die Villa verfügt über eine sehr ausgeklügelte Alarmanlage, also ein sehr sicheres Haus! So jetzt zum Außenbereich! Highlight: der Pool ein absoluter Hingucker, einfach nur genial! Ein Riesen Pool wo man wirklich sehr gut drinnen schwimmen kann! Wir haben ihn jeden Tag benutzt! Gleich nach dem Aufstehen konnte man in den Tag starten! Es sind Sonnenliegen vorhanden und eine super gute Tischtennis Platte wo man sich auch die Zeit gut vertreiben kann. Es gibt einen Grill den wir auch öfter benutzt haben. Unser Essen haben wir immer draußen auf der Terrasse gegessen, einfach nur wunderschön! Den Sonnenuntergang und den Abend haben wir auf der Dachterrasse verbracht, es ist ein unvergesslicher Ausblick, den man nur genießen kann! Die Villa ist einfach nur wunderschön! Die Straßen allgemein in dieser Gegend sind nicht die Besten, da sollte man etwas langsamer fahren als in Deutschland. Wir waren auch jeden Tag an verschiedenen Stränden in der Gegend, die einfach nur toll sind! Fahrzeit mit dem Auto ungefähr 15 - 20 Minuten, je nach Lage der Strände! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im nächstgelegenen San Vito dei Normanni, wo es Supermärkte oder Wochenmärkte gibt! Ein Tip: der Wochenmarkt in Ostuni ist der Hammer!!!!!! Hab ich so noch nie gesehen! Und der Preis ist sehr günstig! Generell kann es dort nicht langweilig werden. Brindisi, Bari , Monopoly und Alberobello sollte man gesehen haben! So jetzt noch einige Worte zu unserer Gastgeberin! Sie ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, wenn es irgend etwas zum klären gab oder wir Fragen hatten, hat sie sich immer super schnell zurück gemeldet, Wir haben dich sehr lieb, obwohl wir nur über Handy kommuniziert haben!
