The cottage is approached through its own electric gated entrance, ensuring privacy and ease of access. Upon entering through modern glass doors, you are welcomed into a bright and airy open-plan living space designed for ultimate relaxation. Once taking one step down into this cottage (handrail for assistance), it is all spread over one level – perfect for any people that struggle with mobility.
Inside, you’ll find a cozy log burner perfect for chilly nights, complemented by a comfortable armchair, sofa, and a sofa bed to accommodate an extra guest. The space flows seamlessly into a newly fitted cottage-style kitchen with a dining area, ideal for home-cooked meals.
To the left, doors lead to a newly renovated shower room featuring a walk-in shower room. Adjacent to this is the double bedroom, furnished with a king-size bed, wardrobe, and ample drawer storage. The bedroom also features glass doors that open onto a private paved terrace, which is a sun trap throughout the day. From here, you can enjoy beautiful views of the paddock, landscaped gardens, and the rolling Shropshire countryside, making it an ideal spot to unwind with a glass of wine after a day of exploring.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome for an additional £5 per night per pet, but must stay off furniture, remain downstairs, and not be left unattended. Great stay!
Pine lodges is a great place to stay when visiting Bridgnorth. A quiet location yet an easy walk into Bridgnorth. Very clean, dog friendly and safe parking on site. Will be our go to accommodation when visiting in future.

Have stayed here 3 times and love it.
Darren the owner is a great host, and also great to see Pops and Socks again ( the owners dogs).
Fantastic weekend break, lovely peaceful location but only 15 minute walk in to Bridgnorth. Host was very helpful, everything in the property you could want. Will definitely be coming again.

We loved staying in the cottage which had everything we needed and more for a couple.

Everything was brilliant, the cottage and facilities. Darren the owner was always about if advice was needed.
Very dog friendly, our dog lived his time with the owners dogs, pops and socks.

Pine Tree Lodge is run by Darren and Kate, with occasional help from their grown up children, James and Alice. They live next to the holiday cottages, ensuring they’re available for any needs to make your stay stress-free. Chrissie, the dedicated housekeeper, and her family play a crucial role in maintaining the cottages’ smooth operation. Not forgetting the welcoming committee Pops and Sock’s our two aging Paterjacks that may pop around to say hello!
Darren, a Bridgnorth native with extensive local knowledge, is an ex-rugby player who now enjoys cycling to stay fit when he’s not working on a building projects. Kate, a semi-retired GP and former horse rider, now finds her escape in golf.
