Very good concept with a very friendly welcoming

The windmill accommodation concept is most unusual and perfect for a holiday. The concept of a fusion between a service apartment and a hotel is great. Very children friendly with the private swimming pool.

the property was very clean and the décor excellent There are two minor comments we would make Firstly the pool was a little small for use by 4 people Secondly the breakfast supplied was good but a change in the menu through the week would be better

A little corner of heaven

I arranged to marry my fiancé at Dana Villas in Firostefani, Santorini. I was looking for somewhere special to be our base for our 2 weeks stay on the island and found the Windmill Villa website. They looked unique and beautiful and I knew instantly that this is where we would stay. The owners are very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, booking the accommodation was very easy and car hire was included in the price. On arrival we were met by the owner, she made us lunch and shared lots of useful information about the island. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, although we spent most of our time outside and in the gorgeous spa pool! I would certainly recommend the property to anyone, couples or families alike. Although there are only 2 bedrooms they are spacious and the property easily accommodated my wife and I, and our three children, in comfort. You will need a car, enquire when booking and the owner will be able to book it for you and even have someone meet you at the airport with the car. Must see attractions: Sunset in Firostefani or Oia, take the 'Dream Catcher' (google santorini sailing - site wouldn't let me post a link) sunset tour, book in Firostefani. Visit the ancient city of Akrotiri, and take the kids to the Santorini Waterpark to cool off. Lots of shopping to be had in Fira, quite 'touristy' but the shop keepers are very friendly and not pushy in the slightest, I doubt you'll have a bad meal out but our best meals were had at the Poolside restaurant at Dana Villas (Firostefani), 1800 (Oia), Fanari Villas (Fira), and for the biggest steaks & prawns you ever saw try the Mexican restaurant at the far end of the main road to Fira! Beautiful island, breathtaking scenery, and the friendliest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, you will not be disappointed, but left enchanted!

A Little Slice of Heaven...

Santorini is one of the best known Greek Islands and happens to be one of our favorite. The windmills are absolutely amazing and immaculately clean. The Levitis family has taken great pride and attention to detail in the decor of each windmill. Each windmill is beautifully decorated, comfortable, cozy, charming, with private pool, and each with breathtaking views! Truly a slice of heaven, home away from home, and amazing hospitality from the Levitis family! Everyone should have this experience!
