Stunning Villa with amazing views. Great location to reach Varenna for Ferries to all destinations on Lake Como.Beautiful walks, with waterfalls, on the doorstep although car is essential to explore the lake further. Villa Ornella is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.Pool is superb. Host was informative and helpful.

The highlight of our family vacation in Italy was staying at the spectacularly beautiful Villa Ornella in Mandello del Lario! From the amenities to the views to the ease of access to restaurants, groceries and lakefront activities, this property has it all! At check-in, all the details were covered fully by Aldo, and the owner, Furio, was very helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns! Be aware, however, that the property does not have any air conditioning. The daytime temperature in Italy was quite hot while we were there, and we had to adjust to no A/C, with windows open and lots of fans. Also, with so many outdoor activities, be sure to bring bug spray for your family as you’ll need it whether at the Villa, dining at local restaurants or enjoying outdoor activities. We were able to make the needed adjustments and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We had a 2 1/2 year old and an 8 month old on our trip, and the Villa accommodated for our particular needs exceptionally well! The property photos do not do justice to the breathtaking views, as it was an experience our family will never forget! Thanks to Furio, Aldo and all of their team for making this stay so very, very special! Grazie Millie!!

Let me not spend too many words but the important ones. Recommended, stylish, quality, privacy, space. Done go here if you look for discotheques. Go here to relax, dine and a special tip is to hike. Only 200m from the house, exceptional hiking tours start, with astonishing views, world class river walks.

Fantastic Luxury Accommodation

What a find - the villa is simply breathtaking with fantastic views of the lake and mountains it felt like we were living in a painting - couldn’t fault it. Perfect location with just a 7 minute drive to the local supermarket and ferry port where we went to Bellagio for the day - highly recommend this trip. The villa has all the amenities required, lovely big swimming pool - due the time of year it was a bit cold but our 12 year old loved it. Owners were fantastic and gave us an extensive tour of the villa on our arrival and covered everything we needed. Would definitely recommend a stay here, we hope to again one day. Thank you both

Amazing house with amazing view on the Lake of Como

This house is simply the paradize on Earth! Once you finished the strict procedure of arrival with the owner of the house, you can benefit from a luxe of quiet and beauty. You feel like at home. One remark, do not forget to have the required 1000 euro in cash as deposit upon arrival. For us it was not clear on the site and we will be a little bit surprised. Nevertheless, the owner accomodated the situation very well. I strongly recommand this place for your family holidays and you will leave with stars in the eyes.

Traumhafter Blick und großzügige Villa

Die Villa Ornellla liegt oberhalb des Sees und bietet einen sehr schönen Blick auf Mandelllo de Lario und den See. Das Objekt ist wie beschrieben, sehr großzügig und auf einem toll angelegten Grundstück. Der Pool ist riesig und man kann dort ganze Tage verbringen. Aufgrund seiner Größe bietet sich das Haus auch für ein Urlaub mit Freunden oder für mehrere Familien an. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub dort.
