LAKES LODGE, family friendly, with hot tub in Windermere

Lakes Lodge in Windermere, Lake District sleeps eight guests in four bedrooms (6 adults and 2 children only).

The open-plan living space in the property consists of an open-plan living space with dining area for six people and sitting area with Smart TV, a kitchen with an electric oven and grill, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The bedrooms include a king-size with TV and en-suite shower, a double, a twin, and bunk room (suitable for children only), serviced by a family bathroom. Outside, there is an enclosed decking with furniture and hot tub. This lodge does not accept pets or smoking. Within 0.6 miles there is a shop and pub. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Choose Lakes Lodge for a delightful base in the Lakelands. Note: Please note that the charging of electric vehicles is not permitted at this lodge, the nearest charging point can be found at Booths Supermarket in Windermere. Note: Complimentary WiFi is provided by the park and subject to fair usage guidelines, Quality and reliability of connection will vary based on the number of people using it, prevailing weather conditions and therefore may be limited or slower than you are used to, WiFi is for personal use only and is not intended for high data usage, gaming and/or use for business purposes, This is only suitable for page browsing and sending emails, Bookings cannot be accepted if they are solely reliant on the provision of uninterrupted and unlimited Wi-Fi, We are not held responsible or liable for the WiFi on the park, If you encounter any issues with the WiFi, please contact White Cross Bay reception. With the addition of a boat trip to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium, and Beatrix Potter's "Hill Top House" at Sawrey in Ambleside, both towns provide a range of activities and eateries. A great number of enjoyable treks, mountain biking, and the "Go Ape" adventure park are just a few of the activities available at the adjacent Grizedale Forest Park. The region also offers a number of National Trust estates and a number of water activities for people who want an adventurous vacation. Children will enjoy visiting the "World of Beatrix Potter" in Bowness as well as places in places like Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, and Keswick.

Short break away

The lodge was very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely time staying in it.

Lovely lake lodge, really enjoyed our stay.The only criticism we would have was there was zero phone signal or WiFi, and no information booklet to help us to know where to go or even check we were doing the checkout process correctly as I couldn’t check my emails. Also a few more pans and saucepans would have been good. But overall a great stay.

The worst experience ever

I arranged here for my husband’s 50th birthday and a small family gathering First of all it was communicated to us that dishwasher is broken and then will refund 100 which never happened There was absolutely no wifi as only rely on parks wifi and no signal in the cottage No access to water before 10am, on day one, we thought something is wrong and called the contact then noticed it happened every single day until around 10amWorst of allWhen we left the house, we received a bill of 250 for broken mug and lamp and extra washing required probably for dishes We spent a lot if time washing the dishes except the last day that check out was before 10 and no water to wash anything with broken dishwasherI have stayed in a lot of places and first and last time I stayed here; I hope at least someone get in touch and explain why our 100 refund wasn’t made and absolutely unfair to take extra money from my account, i wish we could do the same
