Located on the Estoril Coast, in the Center of Vila de Carcavelos, this friendly apartment
consists of a living room (30m), kitchen (10m), 1 bathroom (5m) and 2 bedrooms (12m and 11m).
Located in the center of the village about 1.5 km from the beach (15 minutes on foot) and 400 meters from
Train Station (20 minutes from the center of Lisbon and 10 minutes from the center of Cascais)
allows its guests the privilege of total mobility without the need for
car use!
The village of Carcavelos is picturesque with a wide variety of shops, restaurants and
terraces!
You can buy fresh produce daily at the market 30 seconds walk from home or make
great shopping at the big street fair every Thursday morning.
Carcavelos beach is the largest on the Estoril Coast! Has blue flag (beach of choice
environment) and has excellent conditions for surfing and other sports
aquatic! It was on this beach that Surf was born in Portugal and where they train some of the best
national surfers.

Work needs to be done in quite a few areas to bring this unit up to scratch.Dishwasher,stove and washing machine work well, but fridge needs replacing as very old and frosts up quickly. A list of operating instructions for appliances and also numbers for emergencies needs to be available to guests.Perhaps some local information: for shops , trains etc would be helpful too. To his credit , our host responded quickly to call for help in a blackout and did provide a new mattress and toaster when advised that the old ones were unsuitable. Bathroom needs an exhaust fan as becomes a sauna when showering. Pot plants were a pleasant source of greenery

Un bon endroit pour découvrir la diversité du Portugal

L'emplacement de l'appartement de Pedro nous a permis de découvrir, à partir d'une petite ville agréable une région du Portugal. Toutes les commodités sont à proximité : centre ville, terrasses de café, marchés, plage et la gare qui nous a permis de nous déplacer très facilement sur la ligne Cascais- Lisbonne.

Great stay

Location good with easy access to the train station, walk to the beach between 15-20 min. Pedro is a great host and has a good local knowledge which is happy to share with. There were few minor maintenance issues but beside that we had a great stay and felt very comfortable. Thank you for everything Pedro!

Superbes vacances à Carcavelos chez Pedro

(English below) Nous étions en famille et avons passé de très belles vacances à Carcavelos. L'appartement est bien et correspond à l'annonce, il est situé dans une résidence calme. Carcavelos est une ville bien desservie par les transports en commun et la plage y est très belle (15mn environ à pied de l'appartement). Merci encore à Pedro pour son accueil et pour les cours de surf ! :-) We were in family and had a great time at Carcavelos. The apartment is well and corresponds to the announcement, it is located in a quiet residence. Carcavelos is a city well served by public transport and the beach is very beautiful (about 15 minutes walk from the apartment). Thanks again to Pedro for his welcome and for surfing lessons! :-)

Vacances parfaites

Nous avons passé une semaine parfaite alliant visite de Lisbonne et plage. L'appartement de Pedro est conforme à la description (pas de photoshop), propre, calme, fonctionnel et tout fonctionne parfaitement (électro ménager, TV et Wi Fi). Vous vous y sentirez rapidement à l'aise. Il comprend tout ce qui est nécessaire à des vacances relax. Lisbonne est à 20-25 mns en train et la plage à 15 mns à pied. Il est donc possible de faire les visites dans la matinée et ensuite d'aller à la plage. Pedro est charmant et il nous a parfaitement indiqué les bonnes adresses proches (restaurant, take away restauration, glacier...). Je recommande cette location à mes collègues et amis de suite. Mes 2 enfants ont beaucoup apprécié y compris une grande ballade de Cascais à Carcavelos à pied en longeant le bord de l'océan. Merci Pedro et bonne continuation pour l'école de surf.

Bonne location !

La location correspondait au descriptif , on était juste à coté du centre de Carcavelos et à 5 min en voiture de la plage ( 15 min a pied ) , l'appartement est frais bien qu'il n'y ait pas la clim .Il est au 2eme étage ( sans ascenseur). Chambre des parents = lit en 140 avec matelas à ressorts . Chambre enfants : 2 lits 90 ( lit à tiroir ) . Certains meubles sont un peu abimés ( cuisine) mais il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans cet appartement pour rapidement se sentir chez soi . Et de nombreux commerces à proximité immédiate . De plus on est juste a coté de la gare de Carcavelos , ce qui est pratique pour aller a Lisbonne sans prendre la voiture , le train est pratique et pas cher , on a payé 3 € aller retour par personne , comptez 20 min de trajet . Et enfin Pedro est très sympa !
