Con su propia playa de arena, esta gran casa frente al mar (160 m2) con su entorno arboleda mediterránea de la fruta (6.000 m2), es ideal para unas vacaciones relajantes. 3 dormitorios, 2 baños y una amplia sala de estar pueden dormir 6 personas. Con la playa en frente de la puerta del mar se puede nadar en cualquier momento, desde el amanecer hasta la noche, en las aguas cristalinas del mar Jónico y volver para una ducha. En las amplias terrazas de la casa se puede tomar el desayuno, disfrutar de la vista al mar, esconderse de la brisa del mar, disfrutar del sol, tomar su bebida favorita mientras ve la puesta de sol, etc. Servicios de cocina completa, lavandería, internet, aire acondicionado cuando sea necesario, amplio jardín.

A unique villa in an outstanding position!

A superb property with outstanding views of such a wonderful sea, with immediate private access. We only occasionally spotted any others on the long stretch of sandy and rocky beach. The position of this lovely (and well-equipped) villa is so inviting that you run the risk of not visiting any of the interesting local places! Nice to be so close to the lovely town of Preveza and its amenities yet enjoying a uniquely secluded, magical spot. Nikos and Olga are such warm, welcoming and accomodating hosts: pleased to help and very close-by but by no means intrusive in any way.

Leisure & Pleasure at Kalamitsi

On our mid afternoon arrival Olga and Nikos welcomed us to the villa with a refreshing snack, followed by showing us around the villa and the grounds and providing local information on shopping, weather and other essential advice. Olga had also prepared for us a superb cooked traditional Greek meal for our supper. The location of the Kalamitsi Villa above the beach gives a wide view of the Ionian Sea and a quiet beach to paddle , walk , swim and make use of the brand new S U Paddleboard - available to hire for our stay. The advance information provided made it easy to locate the Villa from the airport and the available local maps enabled us to locate historical sites in easy reach. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the support and advice from Olga and Nikos and we thank them for our relaxing time there.

Wonderful and relaxing holiday right by the sea

Amazing location, right on the beautiful and unspoilt beach. The villa was comfortable and clean, with all the facilities we needed. We loved it so much we have already booked for next year, something we have never done before!

Great Villa with a direct beach access

We spent two weeks in August with our kids (6 yo) in Olga & Niko’s villa in Kalamitsi. First of all, they are both great hosts available to help and discrete when necessary.The house itself is very functional, clean with all necessary equipments – only the wifi is a bit patchy. The direct access to the wild beach of Kalamitsi is a real treat – you have the sea at your feet and we often were the only ones in the water. The sea is very nice in the morning and becomes a little bit wavy when the summer sea breeze starts to blow during the summer afternoons. Preveza is very close, really quaint, with all amenities and tavernas quickly accessible. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend this villa to anyone looking for a quiet, secluded, away from it all rental.

Very clean, spacious house, better than described

Very calm Seas. Warm pleasant sea waters. Private beach. Spacious very clean house. Super fruit-tree garden. Extremeny good food (mainly fresh fish) in Preveza town. September seemed to be a very nice time to visit the area. Highly recommended!

Truly a heaven on Earth indeed!

- very accurate listing description regarding the location, layout, facilities etc - owner provided excellent customer service - would highly recommend as a holiday destination - a perfect place to stay on holidays, if you are aiming for a calm, peaceful, away-from-the-crowd-fuss holiday ------- Too many wonderful memories! The owners Nikos and Olga made us feel so welcome. The house is simply beautiful, very spaceous and clean, with all the neccesities provided. The garden is full of various trees and beautiful plants and flowers. The sandy beach is practically deserted (very private) and absolutely beautiful. Warm and clear sea water. The sunsets were more than amazing. The property is close enough to all the tourist (historical as well as sightseeing) sights without being in tourist hell (more like heaven in fact!). The garden grown lemons and grenadines are some of the best we have ever tasted. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone. We were four adults, three kids (9, 10 and 11 yo) and a dog. We stayed for two weeks. We thank Nikos and Olga for their warm hospitality and an unforgettable holiday experience. We are looking forward to going there again! Magnificent!

We spent a wonderful time in Kalamitsi Villa: the place is great, the beach was just our, the sea is wonderful! The house is huge and very well-maintened. Olga and Nikos are just perfect. Magnificent!

We spent a wonderful time at Kalamitsi Villa: the place is great, the beach was just our, the sea is wonderful! The house is really huge and well-maintened. Olga and Nikos are perfect! Preveza is a very nice little town, we appreciate very much a restaurant called Zaitan Bazar wich is in Zaitan aera of Preveza. Be sure that you will enjoy your being in Kalamitsi Villa!

On the Beach, Amazing Sea View, Authentic Greek

Kalamitsi Villa is the holiday home and a lovely family and the interior reflects this with a real homely feel. Situated right on the beach with direct private access through a gate you are ideally positioned for long, lazy days with little or no company. The house offers a fully equipped kitchen, spacious and comfortable bedrooms, a nice 'airy' feel, private parking and good broadband connection plus outside you'll find a shower, plenty of space and an abundance of fruit trees which attracts some amazing wildlife. Car hire strongly advised. Only a couple of kilometres from the main town of Preveza where you'll find everything you need including great fish tavernas for eating out or friendly fish-mongers for eating in plus supermarkets full of fresh produce. The pedestrianised main street is full of boutique shops and well worth a visit as is the harbour front where there always seems to be something happening and offers great views across the lagoon. The house is located well for trips to historical sites, popping across to Lefkada, driving up to Ammouthia for a trip up the river to Hades!, visiting the historic town of Parga and much, much more. We really enjoyed our week here, after driving from the UK it was a lovely way to unwind in the first week of our holiday. The family were extremely welcoming and generous, Olga & Nikos are on the end of the telephone should you need anything at all. Highly recommend.

Un lieu merveilleux

Cette maison est un paradis, qui a rendu notre séjour inoubliable. Une allée bordèe de lauriers roses mène à son jardin de citronniers et de pins; de la terrasse, quelques escaliers donnent accès à une plage de sable, si peu fréquentèe, qu'elle semble etre une plage privée. L'eau est cristalline et d'une température idyllique. Calme absolu. Les propriétaires nous ont accueillis avec une gentillesse et une générosité rares. Nous avons loué des dizaines de maisons de vacances, mais c'était la première fois que des propriétaires nous recevaient avec un somptueux petit déjeuner sur la terrasse face à la mer, dans un vrai désir de nous présenter les beautés de leur région. La maison est très joliment meublée, nombreuses serviettes de toilette et de bain, les chambres ont un petit balcon, parquet ancien. Afin que notre séjour se passe au mieux, le propriétaire nous a remis un classeur avec toutes les informations utiles et grace à ses conseils, nous avons découvert un très beau site archéologique et le musée de Preveza, très très intéressant. Preveza est une petite ville pleine de charme, avec son front de mer fréquentè par des touristes grecs (à mi-juillet, nous n'avons pas rencontré de touristes étrangers), tandis que le centre ville est traversé par des ruelles, qui fleurent bon la vie traditionnelle; on y part à la découverte de placettes ombragées de tonnelle, de restaurants où on picore des calamars grillés, des moules et de délicieux plats typiques. Nous cherchions un lieu calme, proche de la nature sans etre isolé, hors des circuits touristiques. Nous avons trouvé une maison bordée d'une très belle plage, qui peut etre considérée privée et un accueil inoubliable. Nous reviendrons! Catherine

Wonderfull hollydays in a traditionnal atmosphere

When we rented this house, we were not totally sure according to the pictures that the beach was so close as it appears on the visuals. So, when we arrived on teh place, we 've been amazed: trasparent water is few steps from the house. We used to wake up early, going on the beach to swim and then having a breakfast on teh large terrace in front of the marvellous colors of the sea. The house is very clean and beautifully furnished. Wooden floor, confortable towels, everything is perfect. Olga and Nikos have been extremely kind; one feels that they want to do anything to please their guests. They prepared a wonderfull beakfast on the terrace (after a long trip, we definiltly appreciated it very much!), they explained with many details how to find organic products, cultural interesting places to visit. Thanks to them, we had a very good time in Preveza, which is a lovely little town, not contaminated by tourism. No souvenir shops or restaurants with multi-language menu. Little lanes with pergola, charming corners to take a coffee on the shadow, beautiful orthodox church, we enjoyed very much Preveza and Kalamitsi villa. Definitly, this is an ideal place for quiet hollydays on Ionian sea. Alberto

A truly relaxing getaway by the sea..

My husband and me wanted to find a place where we could explore the inland with all its ancient monuments. After some research, we found that the area around Preveza seemed perfect for that purpose. And so it was! Here we found Greek history in abundance, and Preveza was an absolutely amazing town, but the highlight of the trip was actually our stay in Kalamitsi. Such a pleasant and tranquil place with the sea and the lovely, clean sandy beach virtually just in front of our our house. It is just incredible to have your own stunning beach with the crystal clear water just waiting for you 24/7.. We saw the most amazing sunset in our lives.May was a perfect time to visit, but I can imagine that it's lovely here during summer and autumn as well, when the water is a bit warmer ... We were also very impressed by the standard of the house. It was huge, clean, well-equipped and very comfortable, and felt more like a real home than a “rental” accommodation. The area of the balcony and the garden were our alternatives for our dinner setup.So nice to have literally sea view from everywhere.. In Kalamitsi, we really found the genuine Greek atmosphere we were looking for.The owners were more than courteous and made us feel very welcomed . Thank you so much for making us feel like old friends! We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a beautiful, memorable and non-touristic stay in the West Greece and the Ionian Sea.. Elena and Paul
