This detached chalet style house is superbly appointed and comfortably furnished to a high standard, ideal for 2 or 4 people to enjoy a relaxed stay. The elevated location overlooking the town of Fowey allows guests a panoramic view of rolling meadows and wooded slopes leading down to the busy estuary. One well behaved dog welcome.

Relax with deep arm chairs, a sofa to stretch out on or just enjoy the panoramic view of glorious Cornwall country side. A TV/DVD/Video is there for those evenings in.

Office/TV Room
Just the place for dad to watch the big match or use his computer in peace or for the kids to watch movies. The Office/TV Room includes a luxury double sofa-bed, which can be set up to sleep an additional one or two guests.

Kitchen/Diner
If you need to cook, a state-of-the-art kitchen awaits you. It has an electric range Falcon cooker with a super efficient induction hob, a stylish hood, full size dishwasher, microwave and Smeg fridge/freezer, phone and Wi-Fi hub. The dining area has lovely views across the jumbled roof tops of Fowey Town.

Conservatory
Ideal for that quiet moment in the early morning sun and a read of the paper before everyone else gets up!

Front Bedroom (Double bedroom)
The view from here sold us the house! A moving, living postcard of the arc of the river and the wooded vista beyond. With TV and DVD player.

Rear Bedroom (Twin Bedroom)
Comfortable room overlooking the terraced garden and patio areas. This room enjoys the early morning bird song and is similarly appointed with a TV.

Family Bathroom
Fully tiled and equipped with a full length bath and shower over, heated rail, toilet and sink.

Utility Room
Fully fitted with the needs of modern living including a Belfast sink, washing machine, freezer, condenser dryer and storage area.

Garden Areas
On the lower level at the rear is a private enclosed patio sun trap, at the mid level a lovely sitting area looking down into the harbour and the upper level is a beautiful flower bordered terrace to lie out on and relax with a glass of wine and a good book!

Watersports

Fowey and the Bowshot Lady are ideal for watersports - paddleboarding, kayaking and dinghy sailing. The Fowey estuary has great sheltered paddling and the nearby beaches of Polkerris and Porthpean provide opportunities for visiting Cornish coves and seeing wildlife.  The house has a garage for storing all your paddleboards and kayaks as well as outside and inside drying facilities for wetsuits and kit.   The Fowey main launch point for paddling is less than 1km from the house.   We recommend Encounter Cornwall for trips and lessons and can even help you plan your paddles and itinerary if you wish.

Due to steep steps and a garden balcony this property isn't suitable for children under 8 or those who have difficulties with steps. All young children should be supervised at all times.
