Sivota Senses - Villa Amalia

If you’re feeling slightly nervous about driving in Greece, then this rental may be exactly what you need. Villa Amalia is located 150 yards from one of Sivota’s sandy beaches, and only a 10-minute stroll from the village center, with its pretty harbor and numerous tavernas, cafés and bars. The local grocery store will even deliver to your door, so you can totally relax and enjoy your vacation stress free. The villa is one of a pair of two-bedroom contemporary homes, each with a private pool and a sea view, and each screened by hedges for privacy. Amalia is light and bright, with fully retractable glass doors that open onto the terrace. All floors have a balcony or access to terraces, and with an additional living area and kitchenette on the lower floor, this villa is an excellent choice for a couple or a family with older children. Bella Vraka beach is also walkable, and offers water sports including canoeing and sailing. If you do want to explore some more, you can take a tour of the ancient World Heritage sites in Albania or luxe it up on a private yacht for the day around Paxos and Anti Paxos. We suggest that before you set off, you acquaint yourselves with the way your odometer works. In most cars it is electronic. To reset most of these models, you need to press the button until the reading flashes for some time and then becomes zero.  Keep in mind that driving in Greece is on the Right side of the road. Please take care driving as there may be wild cattle on the road. The following directions will take you out of Preveza airport and through the tunnel and northwards along the Epiros Coast, towards Parga and Sivota. Please take care driving these roads. DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO YOUR ACCOMMODATION (from Preveza Airport) 1. Drive to the airport exit and turn LEFT (towards Preveza). Carry on along this road and through the tunnel. (3 Euro for the Toll) 2. After exiting the tunnel, you will see a sign reading ‘IGOUMENITSA straight & PREVEZA right’ Continue STRAIGHT. You are now on the main road to IGOUMENITSA, PARGA. Continue along this road for a further 84 km. When you reach Plataria village turn left on the roundabout towards Sivota. 3. Drive for approximately ten Kilometres with the sea on your right. This road brings you directly into SIVOTA. Cross the roundabout and take the immediate road on your right having the Parking area and the Kiosk on your left. Follow the road till you come to the square. There is also an ATM cash machine on your left. Turn right on the one-way drive road towards the harbour and continue driving on the paved road until you see Filakas Hotel on your right and Scuba Diving on your left. Head up the hill and keep left. You then come to a junction with a wooden telegraph post in front of you. Turn right here. After 30m Villa Amalia is on your left. Villa Amalia is the first one down the private drive way. Welcome to Villa Amalia!
