The property was easy to locate and a pleasure to stay at. It is within striking distance to all the major attractions offered in the area. The other folks on property were nice as well. Highly recommend if you are needing a quiet time away on the coast
Peaceful and relaxing! Perfect place for a girls beach getaway! All the necessities provided in a clean, comfortable, cozy little spot! Great balcony and views, two minute drive to public beach access. Highly recommend and will stay again!
We enjoyed our stay very much. It was clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the game selection too. Johnson and Johnson seashore has been a favorite of ours for the past couple years and its just a few min drive from here.
I was so happy to find this gem of a condo just 2 days before booking. It was in the perfect location with Gulf Shores to the west and Destin to the east. We went to Johnson Beach National Park each day. It was just a short 5 min drive east of the condo. The condo was well stocked and just perfect for me and my son. Enjoyed the balcony overlooking the Old River. Lots of good food choices close by.
This is a cute little place on the intercoastal waterway, that we found to be the perfect size for a couple or small family. We loved walking on the beautiful beaches of Perdido Key. A car is needed to get around and we had fun exploring nearby restaurants and pubs. They have a nice shared pool but we were there mid January through mid April and only got to enjoy it for a few cold plunges.
Loved our stay and enjoyed the place. Location is great for getting away - beach access is walkable if it’s not too hot! Host responded quickly when we needed the gate key. Would have been great to have it in the confirmation because we arrived late. This was our first trip to Perdido Key and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Would definitely love to come back, lovely condo & larger than I thought. More personal than most places I’ve stayed. Decorated well w/ antiques, cozy touches, beautiful views of bay & pool w/beach across street. Only suggestion would be to have some items water toys/small beach chairs for guest use. Had to purchase chair & cooler and give it away. Still well worth it as I’ve never left a review, ever. Thank you for the wonderful stay
Very quiet, peaceful building- only occasionally even saw other occupants during the stay.
Pool and cooking area downstairs is so nice.
Condo was spacious for 2 adults and 2 teens, cooked most of our meals there.
Washer/dryer were so handy, but the dryer will take longer than you may be accustomed to so keep that in mind.
Centralized location to anuthing needed in PK or Orange Beach areas.
Would recommend the unit and would stay there again.
We traveled for softball nationals and booked last min due to my mom being sick we wasnt going to be able to make it dow. Here and decided to come surprise my daughter i explained my situation and needed a early check in it was immediately accommodated with understanding and kindness the condo was nice and clean as pictured and beautifully few everything was very easy to access very quiet and peaceful . Definitely would come back
The property is in such a good spot! We were a very short drive away from Flora-Bama in one direction and the State Park Beach access in the other. The pool is spacious and refreshing, but did not ever appear crowded in the 4 days we were there. The benches at the end of each dock are brilliant. We watched sunsets from both docks and got great pictures. Our unit was clean and everything worked well enough to deal with. We ate most meals in the unit so we put it to the test. The AC ran like a champ along with the ceiling fans. I would stay here again.
Last renter left bait in refrigerator and even after throwing it out the smell was a bit overwhelming. Missing a toilet paper dispenser in second bathroom. Also parking was fine except leaving the parking have to back all the way out with the way it is configured.
Communication with the host was excellent. He always responded promptly and helped resolve issues. Although the unit was small, it was clean and part of a lovely, peaceful community on the river and very conveniently located. The docks were excellent and outdoor common areas included a grilling area, nice pool, and very nice grounds. The unit was well equipped. It would be appropriate for a couple or young family. One concern I did not notice being mentioned by other reviewers is that this is would not be a good choice for someone with mobility issues. While there was an elevator, several stairs were required to access it and several more fairly steep stairs to exit to the first floor. The toilets were quite small and low to the ground. We have family members who would not have been able to use them. The unit was in need of some repairs. There was a significant crack in the breakfast bar, and there is no table, so it was the only place to eat. The bathroom in the bedroom was open to anyone passing from the bedroom to the living area, which was a little awkward. A suspension rod with a curtain in the doorway of that bathroom would be a nice improvement to allow for some privacy. The bathroom sink also had small cracks in it. We had an unfortunate extended internet and tv outage for several hours that was part of a community update. While inconvenient for us, his should not be an issue for anyone else. Overall, it was a good stay in a great location

Retired Coast Guard since 2004 married my "Bayou Girl" after meeting on Robinson Island, Perdido Key. We almost lost the condo with Hurricane Ivan, but with lots of sweat and tears, we salvaged, decorated, and started all over. My wife is a science teacher of 28 years and I am a carpenter. We met on our 1962 Trojan boat, married on the bow of the same boat, and we dock it at our home on Dog River in Mobile, Alabama. We enjoy boating and the beach every chance we get!
Why they chose this property
Our condo has the best of both worlds. It's on the river across from Ono Island, has 2 fishing piers which is located only one mile from the Flora/Bama yacht club (river side) to stop for the famous "Bushwacker". You can take a car, bike or walk only 1/8 of a mile East or West to a state park and enjoy the beach. It is a quiet condo and area away from the rowdy crowds and a place that is perfect for relaxation. Thanks to the "beach mouse", Perdido Key will remain less crowded and "low key" for it's protection. This benefits the beach mouse and the people that enjoy the natural beauty, tranquility and peacefulness.
What makes this property unique
Fishing piers are great for fishing, crabbing, enjoying the sunset (or sunrise), and watching the local Dolphins and blue herons. It is accessible to Kayak and paddleboard from our riverfront (bring your own or rent from local shops). A pavilion on the waterfront includes a swing, grills, stainless steel picnic tables, and a sink.
