The Shepod was an excellent property to stay in for a few days away from it all. Very clean, and cosy, great location for Lake District and Yorkshire Dales

Absolutely beautifully equipped, dog friendly, cosy little pod with everything you need to be comfortable. Good shower, easy to work out heating and no electricity meters to worry about. No EE signal until you get into the fields, which are perfect for walking the dog! WiFi is very very good though. I had a teams meeting and watched a film on my ipad with out any issues. There are two pods, with ample parking for two or three cars. Gate to the pods can be closed to create an enclosure if you have a dog and want to let it out without having to take it for a walk. Mines a swimmer and really enjoyed the stream nearby. Be aware this is a farm with livestock in the field, so you'll probably need a dog lead. There is no oven in the kitchenette, I took my air fryer which worked perfectly alongside the two ringed gas hob.Fridge with small freezer at the top was ample for me. Nearest town for provisions was only a few miles away, Kirkby Stephen, and a very nice town too.I spoke to owner Leanne via text and email and she was very helpful, kind and respectful. I'd recommend this place to absolutely anyone in a heartbeat. It's bliss.
