Located in West Looe, St Crispin is the middle floor flat of a converted house which dates back to the late 1890's. Uninterrupted views of the Harbour, East Looe, Beach and out to Sea can be seen from both bedrooms and the Large bay window in the Lounge.
Set back from the main road, the property has its own entrance at the front accessed from the rear of the property.
Looe is built around an estuary which leads to the sea and most of the properties in West Looe are built on the hillside. The access to St Crispin is up a zig-zag slope from the road and steps to the front door. There are also steps up to Hannafore Lane which runs along the back of the house.
Unfortunately we don't have parking at the property, but there is free on street parking available on Hannafore Point (5-10 mins walk) or Pay and Display car parks on West Looe Quay (2 mins walk) or the Mill Pool Car Park (5 min walk along the harbour). You can stop close to the property to unload/load.
The property has been completely refurbished (April 2013) with new furnishings throughout. Mixed with some original features to maintain the properties character.
St Crispin has a bright and airy lounge with a large Bay window with Double doors to the front, TV, DVD and Wi-Fi, plus Dining seating for 4 people.
Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed, wardrobe, bedside tables and chest of drawers, with large windows. Bedroom 2 has twin beds, plus a wardrobe and bedside table. An additional bed can be put in Bedroom 1 to sleep a child or there is space for your own travel cot (not provided).
The Apartment has a new bathroom with toilet, bath and electric shower and a new kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, cooker, hob and microwave.
Sleeps up to 4 (+1 baby/child sharing Bedroom 1) in 2 bedrooms

We have holidayed in Looe a number of times and fell in love with the area and the people. We are so pleased to have a base that we can use when in Looe and hope we have made it as homely as possible so that you will like staying there as well.
Louise purchased this Apartment in 2013

We hope we left this flat close to the same pristine condition as we found it. The views are spectacular. The only problem is the difficult access on foot and by car. My wife and I are in our sixties and managed to get our luggage in ok, although I wouldn’t call it easy. But after she injured her knee, access became a nightmare.
Thank you for your review and it’s lovely to hear our cleaning standard is being maintained. We do reference the access and parking situation in the property information on the site. I do hope your wife’s knee is better soon.
We as a family, had a wonderful Christmas. The property was in a central location and was clean and comfortable. We would thoroughly recommend this appartment.
well equipped and loads of great restaurants aroound Looe
The property was so clean and homely with the most amazing views over the harbour. We absolutely loved sitting in the bay window watching the world go by.
You can't park outside the property but we parked further up the road free of charge with no problems.
The owners were staying in their other property below us whilst we were in looe, they were such a lovely family and gave us lots of hints and tips of where to go and what to see.
Mama J's Italians restaurant is a must, and if you get chance go out on one of the glass bottom boats ( the skipper on Boatzer ) is a tad grumpy but the other two boats were fab.
We had a lovely walk over to milendreath which was very scenic albeit a tad hilly. Crabbing on the harbour can be done for hours. My two boys had an amazing stay.
The property is somewhere I would return to, everything you need is there and the beds were so comfortable. Fabulous holiday
Clean & fresh with up to date furnishings. Great views over the river & East Looe
Really enjoyed our stay. The property was as we had hoped for and as described (clean, fresh, tidy & modern) commanding a great position overlooking the river/estuary. Complimentary cream teas went down well (thankyou) after a long journey
Would thoroughly recommend & would hope to come back for another stay in the future
Lovely flat. Great views.
A lovely flat.newly decorated finished and equipped. Great views along the river and across to east Looe.

The Looe train station links you to the mainline station at Liskeard giving you direct access to the main Cornwall and Devon towns like Truro, Plymouth, Falmouth and Penzance; plus there are local buses to the surrounding villages and towns. Many of the boats in the harbour are working fishing vessels which you can take a trip on for a few hours or the Glass Bottom takes you around Looe Island to see the underwater world.
