This villa is located in the south of the Cretan island, nestled on the top of the Alevrota hill, in a cozy traditional village called Kamilari. It is about 2 km from the sea and close to everything you need: beaches, nature, restaurants and other tourist areas. Nepenthe is a modest yet luxurious 2 bedroom villa with lots of Boho character. The design is inspired by the traditional Greek style, infused with modern minimalism and great attention to comfort. There's access to the WiFi network from every room, both indoors and outdoors, and there is airconditioning in every room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and access to the balcony. Downstairs there is a living room with a closed fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and an outside dining area. The living room and kitchen have panoramic folding doors. When fully opened, the entire ground floor changes into one large indoor-outdoor space with lots of space and light. Outside by the pool you get the feeling of a self-contained resort, surrounded by palmtrees and tropical plants. At the back of the house there is a cozy stone garden with Mediterranean plants. It has a comfortable seating area, equipped with an outdoor fireplace that runs on clean ethanol fuel, perfect for warmth and cozy comfort in the evenings. But the best place in the house is without a doubt the huge terrace on the top floor. Surrounded by a herbal roofgarden and equipped with a full outdoor kitchen, there's ample space to relax in the lounge and enjoy the breathtaking view over the valley with its olive groves, the surrounding mountains, or the vast Libyan sea with a tiny nearby island right in front of you. The culture in Crete revolves around cooking and eating in the open air. The rooftop kitchen is equipped with a gas BBQ, perfect for a large lunch or dinner, ready to receive a large group of people with food and wine.
