The living room has a wide glass door that leads out onto a private balcony with a wooden table and four chairs, so you can dine al fresco, with spectacular mounting views. The spacious living area has a large sofa, a flat screen Smart TV and dining table with 4 seats. In the modern, open plan kitchen you will find everything you might need during your stay: an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and Nespresso machine.

Location
In the Italian-speaking Ticino canton of Switzerland, the city of Lugano is famous for its stunning location, rich cultural heritage and excellent food. The central square, Piazza delle Riforma (8 min walk), is the heart of the city and the perfect place to while away a couple of hours enjoying an aperitivo. The city is home to many fine museums and galleries including MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (20 min walk) which hosts excellent contemporary art exhibitions. There are many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer.

A day trip on the Lago di Lugano is a must, as is a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake. For a more active break, there are regular mountain running races throughout the year as part of the Ticino Mountain Running Cup.

For business travelers, the apartment is just an 11 minute walk from the Centro Esposizioni Lugano exhibition centre and an 18 minute walk from the Palazzo Dei Congressi Lugano.

The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 5 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20 minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is a 25 minute walk from the apartment.
