Hi Susan Thank you for your review. We take on board your comment about the garden and will make it clearer on the listing page. We are obviously hugely disappointed that you weren't able to enjoy your stay at No.8 due to the unforeseen building works from the neighbouring property. We were expecting the chimney to need simple re plastering but when the builder removed the existing he found that the bricks were cracked too and deemed it structurally unsafe and removed it immediately. Unfortunately this all happened just a couple of hours before your arrival and there wasn't time to advise you and we didn't feel that the rebuild would really disturb you. With regard to the neighbours replacing the front section of their roof, we didn't expect the work to commence until the day of your departure, for this we can only apologise, we wish you could have contacted us during your stay so we could have asked them to suspend the work. best wishes Simon & Audrey
