This charming Provençal villa is in a wonderfully tranquil setting on a large fenced estate (4000 m2) at the edge of the idyllic village of Céreste. You can go for a refreshing dip in the lovely private pool (8 x 5 m), that can be heated between May and September depending on the outside temperature. Or enjoy a view of the surrounding mountain scenery from the higher part of the garden. The owner lives in a studio at the back of the house. She has her own entryway, ensuring that you have complete privacy. Céreste is situated at the edge of the Parc Naturel Régional du Lubéron. This is a great area for exploring either on foot or in the car. The town of Apt, known for its delicious candied fruits that are sold at its charming market, is just 20 km away. Lovely little towns such as Lacoste, which is terraced into a mountainside and where the grandiose castle of the Marquis de Sade once stood, Gordes with its Village des Bories, the Provençal village of Bonnieux, Roussillon with its red hills, Ménerbes (which is familiar from the stories of English writer Peter Mayle) and l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue are all well worth a visit.
