Lovely central one bedroom flat with outdoor space, Kennington

Enjoy my lovely flat in Kennington! Located on the entrance to a beautiful square, walking distance to the river & just a 15 minute walk to Westminster & the Southbank. A perfect location, close to London attractions & short journeys to airports.

My flat is beautifully furnished with restored wooden flooring, lots of light and a little terrace that you can enjoy during the spring/summer. Ideal for friends, couples or business guests! Great places to eat brunch/dinner near by, I have lots of recommendations!

This is not an empty commercial holiday apartment - the flat is my home! You will find a whole bookshelf of books you can borrow, a set of boules to use in the cute little square around the corner and all of the condiments and sauces you might need for cooking. Hopefully more character than staying in a hotel and will feel like a really lovely home away from home in a quiet, pretty part of central London.

Have previously rented lots of times on Airbnb but less on VRBO so I have attached a photo of the previous reviews.

Beautiful Stay!

We had the loveliest time in Kennington! The neighborhood is so cute and Hannah-Beth was so welcoming. The flat is the perfect place for a weeklong stay!

Hannah-Beth's place and Kennington was perfect! Close walk to the Tube (subway) to get around, clean, reasonable cost, and very well decorated.

LOCATION!!

What an absolutely perfect location for visiting London!! Simple clean place, good mattress, plenty of hot water. Like staying in a friends place.

Great location, especially for the price!

Spent a week during our holiday here and loved the location. Were able yo walk or take the tub into central London easily. Hannah provided great communication and did her best to make it a great experience.

Perfect cozy getaway!

This flat was exactly what my fiancé and I were looking for! Adorable neighborhood with lots of good restaurants and pubs nearby and easy to get to anywhere in the city. Keep in mind that this is the hosts home which we loved because it felt so cozy and welcoming. Definitely a home away from home. The host was absolutely amazing and so helpful, would recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect, cozy stay

I loved the flat! Was traveling alone and my first time in London — the place felt so cozy and just like “home”. Host was very accommodating and communicative. Great location close to public transit to get easily around all of London, but also the neighborhood itself was quite charming! Would definitely stay again!

Great location quaint place

It is as it states. Owners stuff is in the unit, however, there is room for your needs and the location is a 5 minute walk to the Tube for transportation, 30 minute walk to waterfront. Amazing stay. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

Beautiful Apartment

Communication with the host was very easy and she was very responsive and helpful at all times. Checking in was really easy as we were given detailed instructions on how to do so. The apartment is very nice and has everything you need. The location is good with pubs, shops and Big Ben all within walking distance. Overall we were very happy and would stay there again!

The apartment is ideally located, making all major London sites easily accessible by foot or public transport. The welcome and interactions with Hannah-Beth were excellent, and we had a very pleasant stay in her apartment. To be recommended!

Great Location

We booked this at the last minute due to a flight change. Hannah was very accommodating and the communication with her was great. The wifi was excellent but I would have appreciated a television, but we had plenty to do without the tv.

London 2023

Love the neighborhood and especially the neighborhood pub! Nice little one-bedroom apartment. We love being away from the tourist attraction and in a true London neighborhood. Not for everyone but great for us!

Our London stay

A lovely place, perfect for two. Located in Kennington, an interesting and vibrant neighborhood, the flat is convenient to public transit, services, and several welcoming local pubs. Clean, fully equipped kitchen, warm and cozy. Lacking a TV, there were plenty of good books to choose from after returning from a day of touring. We enjoyed our stay immensely and recommend checking it out when looking for a place to stay in London.

Delightful flat and convenient to travel.

Flat has everything you need, and is cleverly planned to hold everything in a very tidy way. HB is very responsive and pleasant to work with. Would recommend to anyone wanting a space in London to go work, visit and explore. Nicely walkable to Kennington and Vauxhall stations, plenty of good food to eat locally, and there's a charming city farm a slight walk away.

Cozy stay

We had a wonderful 7 day stay in this Appartement. The location was perfect for us: close to all the sights in the city and so quiet that you might think you were in a small town. The pubs just a few minutes’ walk away were also great. The apartment was a very nice base. Admittedly, the layout of the space in the apartment takes a bit of getting used to, but there’s still more room than in a hotel room. Communication with the landlord was excellent. At times, we would have appreciated having a second key, but that’s just a minor point.

Lovely, cosy flat in great area

With a luxury shower, very high quality bed and well equipped kitchenette, we were wonderfully comfortable at Hannah-Beth’s. What a difference from staying in a corporate flat let. You can sit out on the landing outside, as well in very nice chairs. A few steps away are a choice of pubs, the square and Kennington Park. Plenty of buses in to the centre. I loved this place and will happily stay there in future!

Absolutely incredible stay. Everything within walking distance and close to public transportation. Impeccably clean and cozy apartment, with everything you need inside. Would stay here every time I come back to London and recommend to anyone looking! Absolutely no complaints, we had an incredible stay here. We arrived early and were allowed to leave our luggage inside, as the housekeeper was on the property cleaning for our stay. Seamless check in and out. Our host answered any questions we had promptly. Incredibly details instructions and suggestions for areas to explore. Thank you so much for an incredibly vacation stay!!

Gorgeous home from home!

Thank you so much Hannah-Beth for such a lovely stay. We really felt at home here! We loved our morning stroll from the flat to the river bank in Westminster and couldn’t believe how central we were. We also borrowed your Roasting Tin cook book and liked it so much we’ve ordered a copy for ourselves. The flat was clean, comfy and had absolutely everything we needed. Thank you for being so quick to answer all our questions too. We’ll miss having our morning coffee sat outside but I’m sure we’ll be back for a weekend away next year!

Londoner Living

This is a wonderful flat that allows you to slip into everyday London life. The Kennington Tube Station is an easy walk as are a range of groceries. The apartment if very cozy and comfortable -- nothing fancy but everything you need. It is a lived in home and not a commercial holiday let so it doesn't have that generic hotel suite feel. I loved it and would happily rent it again.

Homely

Exactly as advertised. This is a personal little flat with pretty much everything you enjoy at home. Plenty of books/games at hand but no TV, so if you require this take a tablet/laptop to live stream. Hannah-Beth, the host is always quick to answer questions if required. Checking in/out easy. Pubs/restaurants/cafes are all on the doorstep with the Kennington tube just a 5 minute walk away, and you can be in central London in no time.
