This charming retreat has been built in the traditional Apulian style with a stylish interior that blends the old with the new. Exposed stone masonry and flooring, beautiful, curved architecture and arched doorways provide the perfect contrast for the carefully curated interior design.

The cosy living area is furnished with a large sofa, a fireplace and a smart TV. The separate kitchen is fitted with; a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, an American fridge-freezer, a coffee maker and a beautiful, handcrafted dining table for six.

Both rooms lead out to the sunny paved garden which offers an area for outdoor dining and a BBQ.

The property is situated in the Itria Valley on the Salento Peninsula, an 11-minute drive from the historic town of Ceglie Messapica. The town has several historic churches and is home to a medieval castle that offers incredible views of the surrounding countryside.

Other popular excursions in the area include; a trip to the historic hilltop town of Ostuni (a 23-minute drive), often referred to as the \"White City\" due to its whitewashed buildings, a visit to the picturesque town of Cisternino (a 30-minute drive) known for its artisan crafts, including pottery, ceramics and handwoven textiles, or an outing to Martina Franca (a 20-minute drive) to explore its picturesque old town and well-preserved Baroque architecture.

The property is also within easy reach of Salento’s beautiful coastline, with its countless beaches including; Torre Santa Sabina, Villanova and Costa Merlata all within a 30-minute drive.

The surrounding countryside is ideal for outdoor activities. Guests seeking an active day out will enjoy the ‘water cycle route’, a unique path that follows the historic \"hidden river\" of Puglia. The project is dedicated to walking and cycling, designed to promote eco-sustainable tourism.
