This modern dormer bungalow offers superb family accommodation and is finished to an exceptionally high standard. It is within very easy walking distance of Keswick town centre and the various amenities the town has to offer.

The spacious lounge features generous seating, a large screen smart television, DVD and a gas fired imitation wood burner. The property benefits from high speed Wi-Fi.

The kitchen-diner has plenty of workspace and is superbly fitted with an electric oven and hob, an integrated dishwasher, fridge and freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. A large dining table and matching chairs completes a beautiful open plan family kitchen-diner, with picture windows looking on to the private gardens.

The gardens offer a secluded space to relax, and theres even space to enjoy a barbeque during the Summer months.

The property has a downstairs double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite, a large family bathroom and two upstairs bedrooms, one being a twin-bedded room with views of the surrounding hills and a further double room with a king size bed. All beds are Vi-spring and each bedroom has a television.

The garage has a table tennis table for family entertainment and ample space to securely store bicycles.

This property has a beautifully light and airy feel and offers exceptionally comfortable and practical accommodation.

Winter Break

Beautiful Bungalow in an excellent location. Immaculately clean, lovely and comfortable furnishings. Very well equipped kitchen and lovely dinning area. Very well located to Keswick centre and located close to some good walks. Hope yo return next year.

Great Property

A wonderful stay in a very comfortable and cosy property which offered everything one could ask for including onsite parking for one car. It's location is absolutely perfect being a few minutes walk from Keswick, along with at least 4 lovely parks close by all of which are fabulous for dogs. The Keswick Cottages team are very friendly and efficient. Sadly, we understand the owners will not permit dogs onsite for any new bookings, so we'll seek alternative accommodation in the area.

Our 5th stay

Another enjoyable stay in this lovely property. We appreciate the quiet location with good off road parking. The owners have put a lot of thought and effort into the property. It is kept spotlessly clean by the housekeeper. The friendly, helpful team at Keswick Cottages manage the property well . Local is the key word here . We called into their office and had a chat with Sarah . We have already booked a return visit in 2026.

Lovely week at Crosthwaite Gardens

Had a lovely week away staying at Crosthwaite Gardens. On arrival the property was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The location is excellent in a very quiet street but just a few minutes walk into Keswick town centre where there are numerous good places to eat and drink . We are regular visitors to Keswick and know how hard it is to find a property with off street parking and a garden space to enjoy. Crosthwaite gardens was perfect for our holiday and we have already booked again for next year.

A fortnight at Crossthwaite Gardens

Every practical arrangement has been addressed. The cottage is light, airy and maintained to a high standard and suited a family of 3 generations. Customer service from Keswick Cottages is responsive and helpful.

This is a very comfortable and well maintained property, possibly one of the best we have been too,

The only problem we found was that the storm protection at the gate caught on the underside of the car (Toyota Carolla), I realise that allot of people have Big cars with high suspensions so that will not be a problem to them. However, I found a solution to the problem by placing some 2x1 inch strips of wood behind the lip of the gate entrance bar, (found wood in garage). enabling the car to go through the gate without any problems. As this could seriously damage the underside of the car it is not something I could ignore, but the solution (as described) is easily solved by making something permanent which could be easily removed in case of a flood warning while putting the flood barriers in place. Other than that I highly recommend this property, The TV options were remarkable (good on rainy days) the beds were very comfortable, One of the bedrooms has a very low sloping ceiling at one end on which I did bang my head on first entry, and I could see I was not the first LOL. Just a minor point though Lounge very comfortable and Kitchen dinning room excellent

Perfect location

Absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful cottage with all the amenities you need and so close to the town centre fells. You wouldn't know that other dogs had stayed there, it was clean and not a dog hair in sight! We will definitely be back.

Lovely house

We have been coming to Keswick for 23 years now and we can honestly say that this bungalow is the best place we have stayed in. It was spotless clean it had everything you needed and was close to the town. We’ve just booked for next year and years to come.

A week of sunshine and birdsong for our 4th stay

This property ticks all the boxes for us . Clean, comfortable and in a peaceful location with off road parking. The “ Enjoy your stay “ box ( tea , coffee , biscuits etc ) was a welcome treat & much appreciated as was the useful mini household starter kit. Thank you to the housekeeper who looks after the property so well . Thanks also to the friendly, helpful , easy to contact team at Keswick Cottages . We were able to call in & say “hello “ in person. Even on a busy day they took the time to have a chat with us . Since our last visit the owners have changed the door / drawer fronts on the kitchen units . It was already light & bright but is now even more so . The new suite in the lounge is another superb enhancement with two reclining chairs . A week of sunshine, bird song and wild flowers . We enjoyed our stay and have already booked to return .

Great Holiday Home

We've stayed here a couple of times and it is always our preferred holiday home in the Lakes. Beds very comfortable and there's everything we need to hand, also in a nice quiet area of Keswick but within easy walk of the town centre. Have alreadys booked for next year!

Excellent cottage

A lovely cottage to stay in. Very well equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook during your stay and lots of plates, glasses, mugs and cutlery etc. The cottage was very clean and spacious. Excellent location, only a short walk into the centre of Keswick. Everything was good, just as described on Keswick Cottages website.

Holiday

We have stayed Crosthwaite Gardens serval times now and it never disappoints! Perfect location with parking and the place is so clean and warm with a fantastic table tennis in the garage which we made good use of due to the wet weather! We just love it and will be back!

A great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Crosthwaite Gardens. The rooms were all very well furnished, the beds were comfortable, the lounge was large with comfortable settees and chairs and there was a very big screen tv with sky channels. The kitchen / dining area was spacious and light and all the appliances worked well and were easy to use. The garage had a full size table tennis table which we used a couple of times. The only comment we would make is that the bedrooms would have benefited from some curtains but this is a very small point.

Second super stay

Our second stay in this superb property and we have already booked to return . The owners obviously care about their guests and really have thought about everything . The house , with off road parking , is in a quiet , peaceful location within walking distance of Keswick centre . This property is expertly managed by Keswick Cottages . They are friendly , helpful and most importantly local . It was good to have a face to face chat with Sarah . Our thanks not only to Sarah but to all the team .

This is a lovely cosy, welcoming house that is located in a quiet cul-de-sac within easy reach of the town centre and the surrounding countryside. It is clean, well equipped and very comfortable. This was our third visit and we have already re-booked for next year!

Well equipped, comfortable, in a handy location

We had a great holiday in Keswick while staying at Crosthwaite Gardens, despite some rainy weather. The property was very clean, comfortable, warm, and well equipped for the four of us plus baby. It's only a five minute walk from the town centre, but is in a very quiet and peaceful location. Thoughtful extra touches were the provision of a waterproof OS leisure map, cool bag, plus other useful items. The driveway is plenty large enough for two medium size cars, but careful parking was required to allow either car to exit without moving the other. Keswick Cottages kept us very well informed with arrival and departure information and also contacted us proactively with information about an unexpected short power cut. The provision of a tablet in the property with links to house guides and local information was a great idea and much used!

THIS COTTAGE WAS SITUATED IN A QUITE LOCATION, ONLY A SHORT WALK INTO TOWN. AND FITZ PARK. KESWICK IS A GREAT LOCATION WITH LOTS OF SHOPS , CAFES AND HOTELS SO THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING TO DO.
