In the opposite direction, the west coast offers arguably some of the most beautiful and iconic views in the Western Isles. St Kilda and The Monarch Isles appear on the horizon and are both accessible by boat on day trips. Hosta and Balranald are highlights of the west coast offering wonderful beach walks and awe-inspiring ocean views of the raw and majestic power of the mighty Atlantic Ocean.
