This cosy single storey cottage is set on the edge of the Gold Tier International Dark Sky Park, the largest in Europe and is ideal for stargazers and astronomers. It is situated just 5 miles from Otterburn, with its mill shop and cafĂ©, and 11 miles from the border counties. Adjoining the ownerâs property, Mycroft Studio is an ideal base for couples to explore the Northumberland National Park, Keilder Forest and the Scottish Borders. The Mycroft Studio is a single storey annexe to the main building. Outdoor pursuits are a huge attraction in the area, and a favourite location for walkers and adventure seekers. Fishing nearby, licenses are available locally. Explore this friendly and unspoilt county, or visit Alnwick with its famous castle and the Northumberland Heritage Coast, peppered with castles and beaches. Rothbury and Hexham are easily accessible with plenty of pubs and shops. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
