High quality lodge in secluded field

Situated in our secluded wildflower meadow, Raleigh Lodge provides cosy, one bedroom accommodation and is ideally positioned for wildlife spotting and stargazing. Perfect for a peaceful getaway.

We are 15 minutes from the historic port town of Bideford and 25 minutes from the seaside resort of Bude. North Devon is famous for its long and varied coastline with its wonderful walks and long unspoilt sandy beaches. This is a superb location in any season.

The area is wonderful for walking whatever your level of fitness. You can enjoy fine countryside and fabulous views right from our doorstep, follow the coastal path or just stroll along the variety of nearby beaches. There are also many historic houses and gardens nearby including RHS Rosemoor. Or try something a little different, such as sea fishing for mackerel, surfing or horse riding.

Raleigh Lodge is perfect for those who wish for a peaceful, relaxing, hideaway.

Inside, the lodge is furnished to the same standard as Raleigh Barn - a standard that has proved very popular with guests over the years.
It has a lovely open plan kitchen, lounge/dining area with Freeview flat screen TV and free WiFi.

The kitchen has an electric fan oven, ceramic hob, microwave oven, dishwasher and fridge.

The bedroom has a king-size double bed and an ensuite bathroom. You can just relax in bed staring out to the meadow through the French windows!

All linen and towels are provided.

There is electric heating throughout along with a wood burning stove in the living area. There are no steps inside the barn and there are just two small steps up to the veranda to access the front door. Parking for one car is about 50m away an accessed by a gravel path.

You are welcome to explore the secluded meadows in the grounds of Raleigh including the small woodland and make use of the picnic area.

The 7kw car charger adjacent to Raleigh Barn is available to guests of Raleigh Lodge as well.
