Comfy room
This property is quite large and run like a hostel. There were maybe six rooms that were occupied while we were there. We had an en-suite bathroom. The kitchen and living room and sun room are shared spaces as is the TV and fridge. The common areas are under utilized by the tenants. If you’re looking for a convenient place to lay your head before boarding a flight at Gatwick this will work. We’ve never rented a room in a house before. Not sure we’d do it again. It’s like a dorm, you’re at the mercy of the housemate who fries bacon at midnight or the housemate who takes a shower at 4am. I think at some point during the night, someone did a room check but didn’t identify themselves. That made me realize that the bedroom door doesn’t lock. We took the bus 10 in from the airport. The walk to and from the bus stop was quite pleasant. The neighborhood is quiet. It was altogether about a 30 minute commute to the airport.
