Luxurious “Villa”—breathtaking views, excellent location

Turn this private getaway into an adventure, and stay at this architecturally distinctive property overlooking the Aburrá Valley in the Antioquia Mountains. Villa Nido features a main house with 10 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and TV, as well as a TV room, living room, dining room, plenty of spaces to enjoy the wonderful view, a place to play basketball and work out, a vegetable garden where we grow our own produce, and a BBQ area. The house can accommodate up to 16 people. Some rooms feature floor-to-ceiling retractable glass doors, allowing the gentle, refreshing mountain breeze to flow through. The spaces are thoughtfully arranged according to a well-designed and refined floor plan. The spacious balconies and the pool deck are the perfect place to relax all day and enjoy your coffee or a glass of wine. More than 5,000 m² of well-planned landscaping provide privacy and breathtaking views of the Aburrá Valley, complete with a long private trail. The location is also home to many varieties of flowering and fruit-bearing trees that attract abundant local wildlife, such as tigrillos, birds, and opossums, among others. Wake up every morning to the sights and sounds of blue jays and various scarlet birds in the trees, while watching the breathtaking sunrise spread across the horizon. Conveniently located in the southern part of the Aburrá Valley, in a secure and private gated community just a 9-minute drive from the main roads leading to various tourist attractions and close to dozens of excellent restaurants serving local and international cuisine, as well as the bustling and charming City of Eternal Spring, with shops, grocery stores, banking, and personal services. The beautiful landscapes found only in our mountains mean that both tourists and those who enjoy long walks or simply having a picnic will find exactly what they’re looking for. At 1,495 meters above sea level, the Aburrá Valley (Medellín) offers refreshing breezes and a breathtaking view of the lush Antioquian mountains. Villa Nido’s master suite is located at the southern end of the house, featuring an open-concept bathroom that maximizes the view and privacy to help you sleep soundly. We also have two junior suites at the northern end of the house, each with stunning glass-enclosed bathrooms that will make you feel both free and secure.
The rustic yet elegant woodwork throughout the home opens up to the kitchen, which features sleek stainless-steel appliances. The kitchen flows seamlessly into a private dining room—the perfect spot to entertain while watching the sunset, or for our private chef to serve a delicious meal. Relax by the pool at dusk while you watch a breathtaking sunset and observe wildlife flying overhead. Wild animals are your neighbors… this is paradise for nature lovers! This comfortable, open-concept, well-equipped home features a stylish, fully stocked kitchen and a barbecue—perfect for entertaining or hiring a private chef. At the end of your adventure-filled day, unwind and enjoy a movie on the comfortable sofa, connecting to the TV via HDMI and Wi-Fi. We have a large pantry and laundry room. The air-conditioned bedrooms each have a private bathroom, and the house is bright, spacious, and cooled by refreshing mountain breezes. We have an on-site caretaker and also provide a light daily cleaning service upon request, with advance notice before your arrival at no additional cost. The caretaker lives in a small house with his wife and two children on the property; his wife, Liliana, is our head chef. The family (children) will always remain away from the main house during your stay.
