Stunning Rustic Farmhouse In The Heart Of The Dordogne, Sleeps Up To 10, Pool

Spacious and imposing farmhouse, living area 250m2, which has been renovated whilst maintaining the original features. Original features include the former village well and bread oven. Situated in a hamlet in beautiful countryside, the house is ideally placed for exploring the major tourist attractions of the Dordogne Valley, such as the medieval towns of Sarlat and Montignac, Lascaux prehistoric caves and the chateau at Hautefort. It is 2km from Sainte Orse which has a nice restaurant and a small shop selling bread. It is a 10 min drive to the supermarkets and more restaurants in Hautefort or Thenon.

The house is ideal for families, or groups of artists, walkers, cyclists or gourmands.

The property includes a farmhouse kitchen, two large sitting rooms, three double bedrooms (one on a private mezzanine), two twin bedrooms, three bathrooms - one with bath and shower, two with shower rooms and 3 WCs. Facilities include washing machines (2), dishwasher, linen and towels, wood burning stoves, WiFi and TV.

The enclosed rear garden is walled and contains garden furniture and a gated 10 x 5m swimming pool. There is covered parking and the front garden includes a stone terrace with barbecue overlooking a walnut grove.

Minimum stay 7 nights. Changeover day in June and July is Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Changeover day in August and September is Saturday.
