Great views from property on the ridge

Lovely house with great views and pool. The road up is daunting particularly on the first visit, meeting other cars can be interesting!

Magnificent but bad road

Nice stay with a magnificent view. But the road is terrible, very steep and narrow. I asked the manager before but they said it was a bit narrow but not steep. The equipment in the kitchen was very old, not sharp knives and old frying pans. But the pool was very good and the view as well.

Beautiful Outside/outdated inside

The checking process was smooth and they let us come in very early into the property, which was amazing. The outside was gorgeous. The pool was super clean and had these amazing view of Frigliana that was refreshing. The inside however was outdated. The sofa was uncomfortable. The beds were hard and old and I think nay have had bed bugs because we were itchy the entire time we were there. The house was dusty which gave my son a lot of allergies and had a lot of cobwebs. Overall it didn't feel clean. The location is perfect, I just wish the place had been cleaner.

Could be great…but isn’t

First off the good bits… Loved the location between Nerja and Frigiliana and the setting was peaceful with a great view down the valley to the Med. The pool area was fab and covered terrace was conceptually very good (but see below). The whole place had a certain rustic charm. Others have mentioned the road to the villa - it’s steep and winding, not for the faint-hearted but basically fine. The beds were all comfortable. The not so good bits… It’s in serious need of internal update/modernisation - and the description could be clearer about this. Beyond the TV, the contents of the kitchen/living area were very dated and commensurately worn and grubby; the pads on the outdoor furniture was either old or grubby (and probably both). Given the heat, everything gets sweat-stained so either needs good cleaning or regular replacing - this got neither. There was aircon in 2 of 3 bedrooms and not in kitchen/diner - which made things very uncomfortable. Also worth noting that there’s zero welcome kit (not even washing up liquid, soap or bin bags). We were there four nights and were out most of the time (both Nerja and Frigiliana are lovely) so the above was more a disappointment than a real problem - but it would be if we had been staying a fortnight. There’s plenty of choice so I’d recommend looking elsewhere - we booked late with odd dates so limited choice.

Très belles vacances, bel endroit calme avec une belle vue à la fois sur Frigiliana et sur la mer. Nous avons profité de la belle piscine et la terrasse couverte très bien exposée. Jolie maison très agréable avec la climatisation (uniquement dans 2 chambres). Je regrette juste un manque d’équipement pour le barbecue notamment avec une grille à poisson par exemple et le nécessaire pour le nettoyer, dans la cuisine également mettre à disposition plus de vaisselle pour ne pas faire fonctionner le lave vaisselle à moitié plein et peut-être aussi un lave linge surtout pour les longs séjours.Merci à Miguel de nous avoir sauvé avec la climatisation qui le premier jour à été capricieuse. Nous aimons beaucoup cette région, ce n’était pas une première pour nous et pas la dernière non plus!Je vous souhaite à tous et toutes de belles vacances à la villa Paloma, vous ne le regretterai pas.Edwige

This was the perfect villa for us and we loved it so much. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed most of our time in the outdoor spaces around the BBQ, pool, and terrace! Close to Nerja and yet a private and secluded location. We hired a car to get around and explore the city of Malaga. We also visited Marbella and spent a great time there while tasting local food, swimming, and sunbathing. Thank you to everyone who helps to have an amazing holiday!

The inside of the villa was cozy and comfortable. The pool was well maintained. I liked the area and the views were appreciated. Fantastic view of a beautiful part of Costa Del Sol. Nerja and Torrox had nice restaurants which are only a short drive away from the villa. Amazing holiday! We will come back for sure.

Villa Paloma is very quiet and the outdoor area is very pleasant. The pool and the terrace are great for the kids. We used the BBQ most of the evenings which was great for us as a family. The area around the property is stunning. And did I forget to mention the nearby beaches? They are wonderful too. Looking forward to booking it again for next year.

When we arrived, we couldnt believe how accurate the property listing was. We were so lucky to have such a wonderful outside area to prepare food!!! Also a wonderful swimming pool just for us! Friendly people in Nerja, helped us several times with directions and proposed places to visit. All in all the villa was wonderful and excellent value for money. We would recommend this property to anyone!! THANK YOU!!!

Villa Paloma had absolutely everything we needed and was very clean. The pool area is fantastic with plenty of space to relax. For 5 people it was plenty big enough. We had a great time there and we were amazed by how lovely are Nerja and Torrox (both reachable within a short 10 minutes drive). A nice holiday overall. We will be returning.
