Tuscany water mill

Great place to stay but the bridge was very narrow to get to the villa

Thank you for your 5 star review, and we hope to hear from you again . Best wishes, Lorraine at tuscan-retreats. NB - for future guests, just to understand the bridge - it is 20M long and 2.7 M wide at the narrowest point. It has railings too. Average car is say 1.7M wide .

It was a spectacular location. The home was equipped with essential amenities. It was spacious, clean and welcoming. The gift basket was very much appreciated. The only catch is entering the property. I feel that there should be more clarity about that. We had a fabulous time. Again the place is spectacular. We enjoyed the fairy hunt, very whimsical.

Tuscan surprise

We loved it here, quirks and all. Key was adjusting to the space. The limitations of a country home and the distances and tight roads to sights Quiet, serene, great pool and all the key amenities meant we were comfortable and able to enjoy the tuscan hills.

Gorgeous

We are a family of three with teen daughter. The house is lovely, quality furnishings inside and out with comfy beds and seating areas. The pool with stunning views was everything we wanted and needed as our stay was during the heatwave. The terrace with friendly lizards was the perfect spot to start the day with a coffee and end the day with a drink. We loved the place inside and out and felt at home immediately. We will miss it and would love to come back one day.

Great house, beautiful views

The house is as described an old mill with lots of space. The garden is lovely and the pool has a great view. You can walk to the village of San romano where there is a bar and a small shop and to silicagnana which has a bakery and butchers. Every where else is a drive. We went to lago di vagli but it's not worth the difficult drive. We did like castelnuovo, barga and Castiglione. At night the temperature was great - hot enough to sit out but cool enough to sleep. The drive off the road to the house is steep with a narrow bridge but it's fine. We had a great time

La maison est située au calme au milieu de la montagne. Attention néanmoins à l’accès étroit et sinueux (van et voiture basse non adaptés pour le chemin).Maison relativement bien équipée (cuisine, chambre, salle de bain) mais le matériel pour le ménage n’est pas suffisant (pas d’aspirateur) La conciergerie est très réactive et reste joignable à toute heure. Dans l’ensemble le séjour a été agréable.

Abgelegen und ruhig, zu Fuss auch Bäcker, Metzger und kleiner Supermarkt in den benachbarten Dörfern erreichbar. Schöne Schlafzimmer. Eine großartige Küche mit allem, was man zum Kochen brauchen könnte.Vor Ort Betreuung durch Giovanna exzellent - jederzeit erreichbar und ansprechbar.
