Anne's property was the perfect place for our sunny weekend. Everything is as described and communication with her was excellent. We travelled with a 4 month old baby and used our own moses basket but there is a travel cot should you need it. We used the barbeque and had We used the barbeque and kitchen appliances which were great. 10/10 recommend

Thanks for the lovely review, Claire. It’s a wee piece of heaven and glad you enjoyed the surfing also 👍 thanks for staying
This cottage is perfectly situated if you like walks and beaches and peace and quiet. Easy to find, the google map took us straight to the front door despite its remote location. It has pubs in walking distance also a big tick! Cottage was clean and tidy, well equipped and comfortable. The host was extremely helpful, her advice on what to do in the area was a huge help. We only only stayed 2 nights, next time I’ll come for longer and properly unwind.

Glad you enjoyed your stay, Claire. Yes, this is a v special place. You don’t find it - it gives you! Especially when you need it the most.
The cottage was perfect, in a gorgeous area of wild Donegal. Easy walk to a couple of small beaches. Nice shop and pub a few minutes car ride away. The house was cozy and clean, with everything we needed. Anne had let us know that there was a sudden problem with the central heat, and the work needed to be done to fix it would have had the plumber there during our stay, and she didn’t want us bothered. The house was warm enough, and we made a fire in the evenings in the wood stove. Anne actually refunded us a discount for the inconvenience. Not necessary (it was mild temps), but a generous gesture from a good host. Would return in a heartbeat if in the area
1st time staying in Donegal, visited with husband and 2 labradors. Whilst the road network took us by surprise, at the end of each of those little lanes was a fabulous view or beach or mountain range.
Dooey beach has to be one of the best beaches in the world, the entrance to it a fun little challenge, with miles of golden sand and dunes and spectacular views, and what magnificent sunsets, wow!
The cottage is perfect location to explore. Everything was as per the listing.
Besides the beaches we also took a trip to Glenveagh National Park and Castle, well worth the trip, more stunning landscapes and mountains.
Thanks for letting us stay, think we'll all sleep for a week now!
