The unique home is located in the heart of Plaka, the oldest district in Athens which lies proudly in the shadow of the Holy Rock of the Acropolis. With a comfy yet distinctive interior that showcases the owner’s life well-travelled, this iconic home oozes Athenian charm in abundance. The Residence has two separated homes (Muazzo Plaka Upper Home, is the 1st floor home - there is another home below on the Ground floor). The unique home has access to a balcony overlooking Acropolis. You can rent both residences together.

Enter the house and find the warmly design-led living room. The sitting area features a sofa and features Smart 50’ TV. At the back of the room is the dining area, featuring a spacious dining table. Ideal for a couple or friends (can comfortably accommodate up to 2 guests in real beds). Authentic, the home idyllic location in the heart of Plaka promises hideaway magic for history-lovers but is also within walking distance to some of the best Greek restaurants Plaka has to offer. A kitchen is also available for culinary wonders during your stay with us.

The Location
Plaka, the oldest district of Athens, lies in the shadow of the Holy Rock of the Acropolis Τhe scattered ancient remains between the picturesque houses testify to the long, glorious history of the city. Walking in the narrow alleys of Plaka one encounters ancient Greek monuments, Roman constructions, small Byzantine churches and buildings of the Ottoman era. Considered as the neighborhood of the gods, Plaka evoke the Athens of the last 200 years with his small houses and restored neoclassical buildings. Although without cars, the streets are full of life, filled with numerous tavernas, colorful small shops and romantic bars. Τhis cultural mosaic includes the Flee Market of Athens and numerus open air activities. Thrasyvoulou Street is one of the most characteristic streets of Plaka, under the rock of the Acropolis. Muazzo Plaka location is uniques as it is just a few steps away from one of the most picturesque taverns in the area (Klepsidra since 1937, distance 50 m.)

Access to the Streets of Plaka
By metro: 450 m. From Muazzo Plaka Home is the main metro station Monastiraki. The route from there to the house is a wonderful walk of 6-7 minutes between the antiquities and the picturesque streets of Plaka.

By car Car: Traffic in Plaka is extremely limited and one should leave the car in an outdoor parking lot - at very reasonable prices - 340 m (3 min.) from the house.

By taxi: Taxis can reach 50 m from the entrance of the house, as it is located on a pedestrian street. You should tell the taxi driver to leave you on the street corner.
