This stunning property located within a quiet landscaped development in Barfleur was successfully marketed to English clients for the owners by Brittany Ferries for 13 years. After Covid the owners have decided to extend the holiday letting to international clients.

Park the car and forget about it. Everything is on the doorstep. The cottage which has extremely fast broadband, tv box and fitted kitchen (dishwasher, fitted oven , hob and Fridge freezer) is located in a quiet cul de sac. There is a washing machine in the bathroom and a tumble drier downstairs. Located a 6-8 minute walk to 6 restaurants and 3 minutes walk to the supermarket Carrefour. Agricol Bank is a 2 minute walk, Beach 10 minutes. Just 30 min drive to Cherbourg. The property has been with Brittany Ferries for the past 13 years and the reviews are exceptional (books are in the house) "spotless, well equipped and the best Gite we have every stayed in are repeated in many of the reviews." Private parking space. Everything you need for baby in the house. Stairgates, highchair, travel cot, baby bath and even changing mat. Safe enclosed garden for toddlers with some toys. Super fast WiFI.

Beach chairs, picnic containers, parasols etc are provided.

The beds will be made up with linens and the towels laid out for you. This is included in the price. There is a hairdryer at the property. If you are travelling from England and using Brittany Ferries I will give you my club voyage no. As my guest you will receive 10 per cent discount on your crossing. Ask me for my Club Voyage number before you book ferry. Basic food items tea coffee and plenty more will be provided.

La qualité de cet hébergement est irréprochable à tous points de vue: espace de vie généreux, bonne organisation des pièces, décor agréable, consignes claires, gestion basée sur la confiance (provisions de premier usage trouvées sur place et à remplacer au gré de l'occupant), etc...Ce cadre m'a permis de passer 2 semaines très agréables dans le pays qui m'a vu naître. We really enjoyed our holidays, the house was even better than expected. So well equiped, we found much more kitchen and beach equipment than anywhere every before. The house is perfectly located and it was relly calm and peaceful, very quiet.

Very satisfied

It’s a very comfortable house, fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay. The location is perfect and quiet, less than 5 mins walk to the bakery and the supermarket. The host, Elaine, is very kind, responsive, and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Everything was as described. The cottage is well equipped, located in a convenient location close to the twon centre and harbour. Communciation with Elaine was smooth and she was very responsive.

Cottage in Barfleur

Small property but very well laid out. Stairs are a little steep for us 77 year olds. Easy walking into town and port. All we need in one place and not far from the ferry.

Excellent séjour

On se sent comme à la maison dans cette jolie location très bien équipée et propre, située dans un environnement calme. La proximité d’une petite surface et de différents commerces accessibles à pied est un plus. Une belle expérience.

Logement très apprécié par petits et grands

Le logement est très bien équipé, il y a vraiment tout ça qu'il faut dans les moindres détails. Nous avons un enfant de 5 ans et un bébé de 10 mois, tout l'équipement nécessaire était a disposition pour eux.logement très propre également, rien a redire, et très bien situé, accès au porc et a m.aplage a pied sans soucis

Lovely, comfortable house. Extremely well equipped. Plenty of hot water. Quiet residential area, ideally located for bakery, port, restaurants and small Carrefour supermarket. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I live in London and do holiday lets in 3 properties, 2 in Donegal in Ireland and one in Barfleur. We love the seaside and spend most of our weekends by the sea in the UK. We are particularly fond of harbours and fresh fish - all our properties meet this criteria. The barfleur property was successfully with Brittany Ferries for 13 years even appearing in their magazine Voyage twice. After the pandemic we decided to widen out client base to other countries.

You can park your car in private space and walk everywhere. The Carrefour plus fuel are just round the corner past the bank. Six restaurants within walking distance, 4 at the harbour.

The owner has thought of everything you might need or possibly forgotten to pack.

You can arrive and depart any day of the week. Super fast Wifi, TV box, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. If you need to work there is a desk in the second bedroom. Everything you could need for baby is included- stair gates, travel cot, highchair, baby bath and changing mat.

St Vaast is just a 10 minute drive. We have had an amazing housekeeper and have had for 16 years. The property is immaculate.
