Behind the pretty Ibicenco finca frontage, the turquoise waters of the 11m x 5m pool are surrounded by a wooden deck with sun loungers and superb views of the neighbouring forested hillsides.

The flower-filled gardens are dotted with pines and Mediterranean shrubs. Relax in a lounger beside the pool, or in the poolside cabana with chill-out seating area – the perfect spot on sunny days or balmy Ibizan evenings, when you can come out here to enjoy the sunset. Close to the house, another traditional wood-slatted roof offers shade over a large expanse of bright sofa seating overlooking the pool.

Elsewhere in the garden, a huge reclaimed wood dining table, seating 14, is located beside palms and olive trees, twinkling lights strung overhead to make for a perfect al-fresco evening dining space.

Inside, white-washed walls, traditional wooden ceilings and stone floors are lifted with bright pops of colour. An interior dining space, with bench seating around a glass table, seats eight. Nearby, a cool room of sofa seating provides another cosy chill-out space.

The large, well-equipped kitchen features stone feature walls, gleaming tile floor, bleached wood units and dark tiles. This sociable room occupies a light-filled space with dining table, seating six, a breakfast bar, and huge windows with idyllic garden views.

The bedrooms are equally spacious with white walls, gleaming floors, and each has its own unique style – from calming canvases of Chinese silk to a huge waterfall shower in a cave of pink mosaic tiles. Each of the five double bedrooms has a spacious en-suite.

Finca Lavanda’s ultimate chill-out spot is the roof-top terrace with floor cushions and peaceful garden views. From here, look through the treetops, and you can see the Mediterranean glittering on the horizon.
