Beautiful home on the lake

My family enjoyed our vacation in this home. Location on the lake is simply Beautiful. Waking up to the view was for me one of the highlights. Chipmucks running around. Mother ducks with their babies coming to take a rest on the banks of the lake in back of the house. The shade of the trees as wonder later part of the day. I wish I had a free stand hammock to enjoy the breeze off the lake in the shade of the big trees. The children jumped right into the lake. Make sure you have water shoes because of the Rocky bottom. Park your boat right on the floating dock. Fish off it. The hot tub was a plus. 😊 totally no minus to it. Beautiful sunroom. One of my favorite rooms. The wrap around deck was wonderful. Big downstairs. Pool table was played with all week. Fire pit to cook marshmallows awesome. I am so glad I picked this home to take my grandchildren to make a memory to last forever.

This property has a lovely view. I did report complaints that could have easily been resolved.

The property was clean for the most part. Drains were clogged and full of hair which we cleaned most of it out. I spent over 3 hours cleaning the tree debree covered deck and 15 chair, longers, and tables on the deck that were mold and spider webb covered. Do not use the gas grill. The gas was still on and many previous guests just left their grease mess. It caught fire in minutes. The jack and jill shower head is broken and does not adjust for adults. There are only single panel curtains separating the two toilet areas which you can see around. There should at least be two panels for each side. The stone floor in the family room has loose stones that are a trip hazard for elderly going through the doorway to their bedroom. There is no handicap ramp from the driveway to the stone sidewalk, which also has missing stones and is a trip hazard. The children's club house was full of tree debree and spiderwebs. We did not allow our child to use it. It did help to have a handicapped shower and toilet, but the pull up rail on the bed shown in the ad to rent the house was removed and not on the bed as shown. We rented this particular house because it was suppoesed to be handicap safe. We had one in a wheelchair and one with dementia. My clothes bleached out in the hottub. Overall, though our visit had mishaps, if managers did the repairs, it could be a beautiful vacation spot!
