Perfect place to stay

This apartment was very nice, comfortable and clean. The surroundings were fantastic with the olive trees and vineyards, we really enjoyed the pool area. The host was very friendly and helpful, and we had some wonderful days in the Siena area.

Reserved this wonderful property on behalf of my wife & daughter. They raved about the host Simona who was very welcoming and available as needed. Their experience was exactly as they hoped for with very nice accommodations and tremendous views of the Siena countryside.

Excellent location, comfortable and charming!

Had a wonderful stay in Siena for 10 days. The property is beautiful, the apartment so cute and comfortable and well appointed. My mom, Aunt and I had this as our home base and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is ideal being a short drive into Siena but you are really out in the countryside so you get the peace and quiet and gorgeous views. The weather was a bit too cool to swim but it was lovely sitting out on the patio and on the hillside overlooking all the farms, so picturesque. Simona and her husband are terrific hosts, helpful and welcoming, will definitely book again!

Siena stay

This was a lovely location just north of Siena. I think ideally, I would stay south of Siena to avoid some traffic coming and going. Simona was very kind; she and her husband helped us out when our rental car gave us oil warning and the dipstick was dry. Unfortunately, I had not noticed a notice online that the pool was closed by the time we were staying there as we had looked forward to using it.

Great base for visiting Siena

Simona is an excellent host. Dealt with all our requests for help very quickly and positively. The apartment is spacious and well maintained with a lovely pool a few metres away. Location is excellent for visiting Siena, take the local bus and you can be in the Campo in 30 minutes, so much easier than driving in.

Only spent one night of our planned stay

This trip was a part of a homeschooling trip with my kids. The hostess that met us was not friendly, spoke very little English and couldn’t provide us with WI-FI information. Given that we needed the internet for phone and schoolwork, we chose to move to different accommodations. We were never shown a pool but I’m sure that there’s one on the grounds.

Un petit paradis

Un petit paradis aux portes de Sienne: proche des commodités. Et en même temps un havre de paix . Idéalement situé pour explorer la Toscane, et la piscine était la bienvenue en soirée au retour de nos balades. Tout simplement parfait!

Idéalement situé à quelques minutes du centre de Sienne, mais à la campagne, ce gîte de très bonne facture est parfaitement entretenu et les extérieurs, fleuris et arborés, ne sont pas en reste. La présence d'une vraie piscine, elle aussi très bien entretenue, constitue un atout indéniable. Mais tout cela ne serait rien sans la qualité de l'accueil. Simona, chaleureuse, discrète et efficace, saura vous conseiller sur l'organisation de votre séjour, les villages à visiter, etc... Sans oublier les petites attentions dont elle agrémentera votre séjour. Si l'on ajoute un rapport qualité-prix excellent pour la région, on peut dire sans hésiter que l'azienda Colombaiolo est l'hébergement idéal pour découvrir la Toscane.

Bel emplacement pour visiter Sienne et les alentours

Nous sommes restés une semaine dans cet appartement qui se trouve à quelques minutes de Sienne en voiture. L'appartement est grand bien agencé. Nous avons apprécié le fait de pouvoir visiter la journée et profiter de la terrasse et de la piscine en soirée. Simona est très accueillante, elle nous a donné de bons conseils pour visiter la région. Nous étions environ à moins d'une heure de toutes les belles villes aux alentours (Montepulciano, Montalcino, Chianti,....). Je recommande fortement cet endroit.

Schöner Aufenthalt in der Toscana

Die Wohnung war sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Das Internet funktionierte nicht regelmässig. Unseren Aufenthalt konnten wir sehr geniessen. Hatten den Pool für uns und die ruhige Lage war traumhaft. Mit dem Bus fährt man alle 15min ins Zentrum von Siena (kostet pro Fahrt 2 Euro) Immer wieder gerne...

Perfectly located apartment by a farm house. Immaculate, comfortable bed, full kitchen

We had a wonderful time in Simone’s apartment . It was very clean, had a very comfortable bed, one and a half bathrooms, the kitchen and the dining area and a living area for the Marta apartment. There was a pool where we swam every day after sightseeing all day. There was a lovely outdoor eating area where we could have breakfast and dinner. We would love to return here again because we had a wonderful time and Simone provided everything we needed.

Very nice Apartment

Very nice Apartment located in the country, a few minutes to Siena and central to the other towns in Tuscany. The Apartment is exactly as described, clean, well furnished, private and secure. Our host Simona was very nice, and accommodating. We had a very enjoyable 5 night stay and would stay here again if we have the good fortune to be back in Tuscany.

Excellent !

We had a great time in Colombaiolo ! Located a few minutes from Siena, it is the ideal place to visit the region (Firenze, San Gimignano, Volterra, Crete Senesi, Arezzo ...) The apartment ‘Marta’ is well equipped and furnished. It is not necessary to bring linen or towels as they are provided. It was nice to find beds perfectly made when we arrived. The agriturismo Colombaiolo is a pleasant place very well maintained. The swimming-pool area is just perfect! As mentioned by another vacationer, reality is better than the pictures. Simona and her family take discreetly but surely care of their hosts. Simona is always available for providing information. And we thank them once again!

esperienza da ripetere

Erano già alcuni anni che non passevamo qualche giorno in Toscana . La scelta della casa in questo agriturismo si è rilevata molto azzeccata , in quanto in mezzo al verde e alla campagna e comunque a 5 minuti dal centro di Siena (in macchina). L' appartamento è bello e ben tenuto con tutti i confort. La piscina necessaria al ritorno dalle nostre gite molto ben tenuta e poi che dire della signora Simona sempre disponibile , gentile . Mi sa che ci rivedremo ....però la prossima volta nella settimana del palio .....e non in quella prima come questa volta .

Ein toller Urlaub

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit! Wir genossen die absolute Ruhe, die herrliche Aussicht auf Siena und die Hügel der Toskana. Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr günstig zu Siena. In nur wenigen Minuten Auto- oder Busfahrt ist man im Zentrum von Siena. Sie ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet und absolut ruhig gelegen. Es ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. In den zwei Wochen unseres Urlaubs haben wir viele Ausflüge (mit dem Auto) in die umliegenden Städte und Dörfer gemacht. Dazu hat uns Simona, unsere Vermieterin, viele Tipps gegeben. Wir können die Ferienwohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Wir wollen wiederkommen. Danke für den schönen Urlaub.

Le paradis en TOSCANE

Que du bonheur ! Nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans un belle propriété, très bien restaurée mais qui a gardé son authenticité, nichée au milieu des oliviers et des vignes. Idéalement située à seulement 4 km du centre de Sienne , tout en étant dans un endroit calme et reposant (le plaisir de la ville à la campagne). Lieu de départ idéal pour visiter la TOSCANE. L'Appartement est spacieux lumineux bien équipé et bien agencé, propreté impeccable. Une belle piscine avec transat est à disposition des hôtes. Un grand merci à SIMONA pur son accueil chaleureux, ses informations sur les lieux à visiter et ses précieux conseils. Notre seul regret : quitter la Toscane et ce lieu magique après un aussi beau séjour. Arrevedechi e speriamo di presto

Fantanstic-We will return.

We have been reminising about our stay at the farmhouse for many months and feel that we must write a review to compliment and thank the owner for a perfect vacation. This was by far our favorite location in Italy. Excellent location, clean, quiet and very relaxing. We are contemplating a return visit with the entire family sometime soon.

TRES BONNE ADRESSE

Nous avons occupés l'appartement Italo 15 jours, très propre, bien décoré et calme. Propriété bien entretenue, la piscine entourée d'oliviers permet de ce rafraîchir et de se reposer. Très bien située aux portes de Sienne et tout près des magnifiques villes de la Toscane , du Chianti, ect.. De plus Simona est très discrète mais à l'écoute. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.
