A great place to stay.

We both really enjoyed our stay at Woodpeckers Nest. Nicely decorated, clean and welcoming with a comfy bed and fluffy towels. Would definitely reccomend and we hope to return soon. Many thanks to Sue and Mike.

Very happy we choose this place to stay

This property met all our needs. The recreational activities were a big plus since it rained most of the time. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Place!!!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Owners have thought of everything you might need and it was spotlessly clean with lovely fresh linen and fluffy towels! Loved all the nice little extras that were provided and we and our 4 year old had a fantastic time. Its in a great location for various attractions and we cant wait to return! Owners were friendly and booking was straightforward. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful accommodation

Absolutely loved our stay at Woodpeckers Nest. There was good communication from the start with the owners and they provided everything you could possibly need while staying away from home. The accommodation itself was lovely, comfortable and clean and in a beautiful setting. My children really enjoyed the large gardens and the trampoline in particular.

Relaxing

With every convenience thought of our stay was made very relaxing. A warm welcome and top quality surroundings we would certainly recommend this holiday let to friends and family. Central to many attractions and a quiet location making this stay most enjoyable. Well done to the owners, they've done a great job in providing all that's needed (and more)

Our stay

property was perfect as it had everything you need for a family stay. the facilities and land were also brilliant and kept my granddaughter entertained. maybe the info on the site could be updated to include the driving range, as could have bought golf clubs or maybe provide a few clubs for practice. the location is a little remote, however it was also well positioned for exploring Norfolk. we would book again.

Very comfortable and modern accomodation

Loved our recent stay. Ample space considering we have 2 children as well. Everything was very clean and well equipped with a few added extras on arrival. It couldn’t have been nicer. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks

Lovely, well equipped chalet/barn in great location

We had a wonderful long weekend in Sue's excellent accommodation and wanted for nothing. Woodpecker's Nest is so well equipped and convenient that we didn't have to worry about a thing. Lovely garden, plus huge paddock at the back great for families with young children. A very restful holiday. Many thanks again Sue.

IMMACULATE HOLIDAY COTTAGE

We had a great time with our 2 children in this well equipped immaculate cottage in a lovely location, just off the beaten track but still within a short drive of all the best destinations North Norfolk has to offer. The cottage itself is really cosy and finished to a really high standard with comfy beds and a lovely bathroom with a great walk in shower. The grounds are very good for small children, well fenced in with lots of room for them to play and fully equipped with a football net, trampoline and swings and a summer house which my little girl named as her 'princess house'. All in all we would highly recommend this accommodation and we would stay here again next time we visit this Norfolk.

Lovely property for exploring Norfolk and the broads

Accommodation was excellent. Still quite new when we stayed for the August bank holiday (2016). Very well kept and spotlessly clean, very comfortable. Good for kids with a huge field behind the property - lots of space for running around. Being in the area of the Broads does have lots of good pubs and restaurants. It is just over 20 minutes to Cromer and Sea Palling beaches. Sea Palling, is a beautiful long Sandy beach and has fairly shallow water. Kids loved it and even on a hot August bank holiday it was easy to get parked. Property does require a car as the road in and out doesn’t have a path and is too busy to walk. Would we go back – Yes absolutely. Thanks to Sue for having us.

Great property in a great location... Perfect for families

We stayed for a week and loved this place. Very convenient for beaches and places we wanted to visit. The property itself is also immaculate and has everything you need for your stay. The outdoor space is perfect if you have a family as lots of places for them to run about and the games room / outdoor play area to keep them entertained. Would definitely recommend and hope to book again.

A great holiday in a lovely property

From the booking process to the time we left everything was very easy. The property owner contacted us before arrival to see if we had any additional requirements, high chair, travel cot etc, which we did and they were in place by the time we got there. The property itself was very nice, clean, well appointed. It had every you could need and there was even tea and milk for that important cuppa after a long drive. There was plenty to keep the kids occupied when we got back from a day out. Pool table, huge trampoline and a lot of space for them to run around. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay for both families and also couples as it’s location is very quiet and relaxed. We’ll be back without a doubt!

Perfect stay

Stayed here over Easter weekend and had a fab time. Accommodation was perfect and it was great to have the use of the garden, field and games room. Would definitely recommend this as a base to explore north Norfolk

Welcoming, comfortable and beautiful

Squirrels Drey has been beautifully converted from a farm building. Everything, from the furniture to the kitchen equipment and bedding has been done the highest standard and above all it feels welcoming and comfortable. We look forward to staying there again.

Just perfect!!!

We stayed in Squirrel's Drey for 2 weeks with our children (12/9y). The holiday barn was perfect for us - neatly clean in EVERY SENSE, perfectly equipped and complemented by all practical equipment one could think of (soap, dishwasher tablets, washing/freezing/storing). The shape of the barn is well-thought to make most of it. The beds are very comfortable. We especially enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings or for breakfast. The children enjoyed the lawn in front of the house, that in the back or the pool table next door. The description in the advertising is in every sense complete and honest. The landlords Sue and Michael are lovely and very helpful when needed. All communication in advance was timely, payment was uncomplicated. This is definitely a place - to remember (at least) or - to recommend (your friends will be greatful for that hint) or - to come back which is the best.

Lovely and extremely well maintained rental

I would highly recommend this rental. It was extremely clean and well kept with a well equipped kitchen which is rare. Great central location for exploring North Norfolk and the Broads. Ideal for couples and families.
