SUMMARY
Located in a quiet spot at the top of the town steps, this three-storey Victorian terraced holiday home is ideal for a short break or traditional week at the seaside, with Aldeburghâs vibrant high street and the sea just a five minute walk from the front door.
Interiors are spacious, stylish and comfortable throughout. The elegant living room is cleverly furnished as two rooms with a wood burner to take the chill off winter evenings on one side, and a desk for guests needing to do a
GROUND FLOOR
Youâre welcomed into a long hallway stretching to the kitchen/dining room at the back of the house, with the living room/study to your left, a cloakroom, plenty of space for footwear and to hang coats on shaker pegs, and the carpeted staircase rising to the first floor. The living room is carpeted, hallway has wooden flooring and the kitchen is tiled.
LIVING ROOM
The sun streams into this elegant room through the big bay window at the front and the sash window at the back,
The rooms effectively divided into two with a couple of sofas, occasional tables, a chair and footstool on one side surrounding the TV with Freesat and a DVD player and the wood burner and; on the other side, a desk, a low table and a couple of comfy chairs where you can relax with a good book and a Bluetooth speaker.
KITCHEN/DINING ROOM
A lovely light modern room with wonderful indoor/outdoor feel thanks to the picture window overlooking the garden. French doors giving easy access for outside dining and thereâs an oval table inside with six chairs for eating inside. Units sit along two sides with a built-in electric oven with separate grill, five ring gas hob with extractor, super big fridge/freezer with four drawers, dishwasher, washing machine, and free-standing microwave.
FIRST FLOOR
Carpeted stairs rise to the first-floor landing which is split level and thereâs a stairgate fixed at the top. All bedrooms and the landing are carpeted with bathrooms having have painted wooden floors.
MAIN BEDROOM
An incredibly spacious bedroom with two big windows overlooking Park Lane. The king-size bed takes pride of place between chests of drawers and thereâs additional storage in a Narnia sized wardrobe, plus a chair to relax in.
EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM
A big en-suite with double shower cubicle with both rain shower head and shower wand, washbasin, WC, heated towel rail (towels are provided for all guests) and light coming through the glazed door.
BACK BEDROOM
Sitting quietly at the back of this luxury holiday home with a wooden king size bed, a bedside table, a chest of drawers, an upholstered chair and a large wardrobe so you can unpack and settle in.
FAMILY BATHROOM
A big room, easily accessible for the guest and twin bedrooms. The large bath has a shower rose and hand shower over it with a shower screen and thereâs a washbasin, WC, heated towel rail, chair, and natural light from the wide sash window.
SECOND FLOOR
Carpeted stairs rise to the landing and twin bedroom, all carpeted and thereâs a glimpse of the sea and church over the rooftops.
TWIN BEDROOM
This bedroom has a sloping ceiling (tall guests beware!) and is furnished with sturdy wooden beds with an attractive chest of drawers between them plus an additional chest of drawers and a comfy chair for bedtime stories. The window in the eaves overlooks the garden.
OUTSIDE
Park Lane runs between Alde Lane and The Terrace at the top of the town steps, with unrestricted parking in front and in the neighbouring roads so you can park and make the most of the location, walking to shops, restaurants, the beach and all that Aldeburgh has to offer. The long garden is fully enclosed, mostly laid to lawn with a patio next to the house where thereâs a table and six chairs, plus a second one at the bottom of the garden catching the sun earlier in the day and a BBQ for summer dining. Thereâs a shed where you can store bikes and a path runs along the back to give access without going through the house.
One well behaved dog is allowed but must not go on the furniture or upstairs
