This stylish, contemporary apartment in central Lugano, makes the ideal base for a work trip or city break, in the heart of the Swiss-Italian Lakes.

On the 4th floor (with lift) of an elegant apartment block, the air-conditioned apartment sleeps 4 people. It is flooded with sunlight and has been thoughtfully equipped with anything a guest might need for their stay. With wooden floors throughout, the apartment is arranged around a spacious entrance hallway. The corner living room has large windows on two walls and a glass door, leading onto a balcony overlooking the street. There is a comfortable sofa (which converts into a double bed), a large Smart TV and a contemporary dining table with 4 chairs. It is an ideal space to relax with friends or family.

The fully-equipped, sleek, modern, kitchen has an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a Nespresso machine, plus a small breakfast bar.

Location
The apartment is situated in the middle of Lugano, just a 5-minute walk from the lakeside and 8 minutes from the central square, the Piazza della Riforma.

Right on the border of Switzerland and Italy, the city of Lugano is known for its stunning location, rich cultural heritage and excellent restaurants and cafés. The city hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer. MASI (the Museum of Art Of Italian Switzerland) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. A day trip on the Lago di Lugano, sailing between Switzerland and Italy is a must, as is a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake. For something more demanding, there are regular mountain running races throughout the year as part of the Ticino Mountain Running Cup.

The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20 minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is a 12-minute walk from the apartment.
